My student status at JJc is that I' am a returning and part time student. I plan on staying at JJC for about two years to get my associates in Early Childhood Education, after i get my associates i would like to attend a 4 year college to get my masters in business. The goals that i set for myself while in college, is to better myself in my study habits, have a better understanding what it feels like to be a college student, and to pass all my class with an A. I have a 5 month daughter that I spend most of my time with, at this time I do not have a job, but working on getting one. I spend the majority of my time rasining my daughter and taking care of myself in the process of doing so. I' am an African American female who is 21 years old, who is looking forward to having a great career in the near future. I attend church every sunday, help others who needs help, and a loving mother to my daughter. Right now I live with my parents, my daughter and I have our own room that we share. the house I stay in with my parents has 4 bed room, its a big house. My challenges in college is juggling my daughters time and my time for homework. Children; expecially babies need and want all the attention that you can give. as a result of me taking care of my daughter and spending most of my time with her it is going to be challenging to get my school work done and study time. Early Childhood education is my choice of study because, I like to learn about children and there developmnet, how they grow? why they do certain things that as parent we would not approve of. I like to understand a childs mind, there function, and the way they act. Learning and understand a child helps me and, or others as parents what to look forward to in the development of a child or your own child.
