As I have progressed through my A levels, I have realised in all subjects I study, that there are several elements of the justice system involved and this is where my enthusiasm for studying law originated.

Biology has helped me develop useful skills including the application of knowledge and the necessity to think analytically about my answer. Throughout my school years, I have developed my confidence massively and now I actively take part and thoroughly enjoy presentations and debates, as I love expressing my opinion and persuading others. My greatest attributes are my organisation, hardworking and determination. There have been many experiences outside the classroom, that have reinforced my interest for studying law. I participated on the National Citizen Service programme, which `taught me to value teamwork and consider all views and public speaking, boosting my confidence. I recently went on a 4-day SPRUCE course organised by Judge Rose, one of the leading judges in Bradford. It interested me that a law degree wasn’t just limited to a career as solicitor or barrister, but there were also many other aspects of the legal profession, for example the crown prosecution service. I also enjoyed debating in a court and acting in pretend trials, which gave me a good feel for the environment. I was advised by many solicitors to read around in the news and be commercially aware of current affairs.
