Isaac Bonga is a professional German basketball player of African descent who has managed to work his way up to become signed as a forward position player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association(NBA). As a young player, he has been credited with having the ability to excellently combine positional strength, basketball IQ and Versatility with heightened precision.Though he has the size fit for a power forward, he is able to also function as a facilitator from a point guard position.

While on the team, though it took a while before he was given more playing time, he ended up playing a total of 24 games, making 2.0 assists, 2.8 rebounds and averaged a total of 5.9 points with the team.He was also featured in the Junior Tournament called, "Ciutat de L'Hospitalet" with the junior team of "Brose Baskets" and also played remarkably well on the "Skyliners Frankfurt" junior team. In four the game appearances he made, Isaac Bonga finished with a total of 7.7 rebounds while amassing 12.2 points.
Due to his stellar performance, the Skyliners Frankfurt signed him on to a four-year-long contract in June 2016. After getting signed, Isaac Bonga still had to participate at alternate times with the first team, the third German level as well as the Skyliners of the ProB. In the 2017-2018 season with the first team, he played a total of 33 games of which he was a starter for 11 of them.
