One of the worst things to do in life is to create a feeling of loneliness in someone’s heart. The theme of “loneliness” in the short story All Summer In A day is one of the most important things to learn in life. All Summer In A Day is a short story wrtitten by Ray Bradbury, a famous American science fiction writer. The story is about a class of ruthless children on Venus where it rains only for two hours every seven years. The protagonist of the novel is Margot who moved toVenus from Earth five years ago and she is the only one who remembers the sun. The antogonist of the novel is William who always annoy Margot. The theme of “loneliness” in the short story All Summer In A Day by Ray Bradbury is a terrible thing to have to learn. The plot, the way William treats Margot and my personal experience have made my understanding clear of the theme “loneliness”. The theme of “loneliness” in the short story All Summer In A Day has taught me great lessons about life, and it also reminded me of the plot of the story. The author should avoid using the same phrase, "the theme of loneliness," several times in the same paragraph. Instead, the author can use a synonym such as "solitude" or paraphrase the sentence to read, "The concept of loneliness explored in Ray Bradbury's 'All Summer in a Day' is a powerful theme to comprehend."

'Why Violent Video Games Shouldn't Be Banned'?

‘All Summer in a Day’ uses a variety of explicit metaphorical language to establish character images such as being so pale that the rain has “washed away the blue from [their] eyes” and the inhospitable setting in which the story takes place. While living on the planet Venus, children very rarely see the sun and act unwelcomingly towards Margot, the new child. Underpinning this plotline, themes of loneliness, jealousy and the difficulty of accepting change are articulated with skilful and implicit language and features, especially through tone and dialogue. The author should avoid using the phrase "Underpinning this plotline," as it does not fit well with the overall tone of the paragraph. Instead, the author can use a phrase like "furthermore" or "moreover" to introduce the themes and tone of the story.

Close Comments Bradbury may have attempted to highlight the reaction of society towards immigrants and their experiences in new countries.

The plot of the short story All Summer In A Day has made my understanding clear of the theme “loneliness”. In the story William and the other children lock up Margot in a closet out of Jealousy before the sun comes out. After the children lock up Margot, they enjoy in the sunshine. All the the children go out and have a great time for two hours. While enjoying in the sunshine, a girls suddenly stops and sees a cupped and huge single raindrop in her palm. Then the children began to cry as the rain starts again. Finally, one of them realize that Margot’s still there where they’ve locked her and the children feel extremely shameful for what they’ve done. The author Ray Bradbuy shows us that the children are creating a feeling of loneliness by locking Margot in a closet. By locking Margot in the closet, the children have made her miss the two hour summer that she would have experienced in her childhood. Now, Margot has to wait for another seven years unit the sun comes out. The author also makes the children feel shameful and tries to teach the readers the strange feeling that a person would feel after creating a feeling of loneliness in someone’s heart. The author should avoid using phrases like "the author Ray Bradbuy shows us" or "The author also makes." Instead, the author can say something like, "Through the plot, Bradbury showcases how the children's treatment of Margot contributes to her sense of loneliness."

Close Comments The strange feeling that the children felt made my understanding clear of the theme “loneliness”, and it also reminded me of the way William treats Margot.

The way William treats Margot made my understanding clear of the theme “loneliness” in the short story, All Summer In A Day. At the beginning of the story, Margot stands alone and William asks her, “what’re you looking at?”. Margot doesn’t answer because the rudeness William showed made her feel unhappy. Than William gives her a shove saying “speak when you’re spoken to”. However Margot does not move and still doesn’t speak anything so that he would leave her alone. The author Ray Bradbury shows the readers that William’s attitude towards Margot is very impolite in this scene. There is a saying in English which says “give respect and take respect”.The author should avoid using the phrase "there is a saying in English," as it is not relevant to the topic at hand. Instead, the author can say something like "William's behavior exemplifies the idea that respect is earned, not demanded."

Close Comments In this scene of the story, the readers can see that there is no kind of respect shown to Margot by William and the kind of response he gets for that. The author is also trying to teach the readers the kind of response they would get when they treat a person very impolitely. A person could respect another person only if that person is worthy of that respect. The author making Margot not speaking a single world when William treats her irrespectfully shows the readers that William is not a respectable person. The impoliteness that William showed Margot and the unhappiness that Margot felt made my understanding clear of the theme “loneliness” and it also reminded me of my personal experience.

One of my personal experience makes my understanding clear of the theme “loneliness” in the short story All Summer In A Day. The theme of “loneliness” has affected Margot’s behavior towards rude and arrogant people as shown when William treats Margot very rude and arrogant. Similary, it has also affected my behavior towards people who are rude and arrogant like William. In the story, the children keep on annoying Margot and lock her up in a closet, because she is the only one who was born on Earth and not on Venus. Likewise, when I was studying in Belgium, I was being annoyed by the children in my school and they even used to lock me up in my classroom during lunch break, because I was the only one who was an Indian and an Easterner while all the other children were from the West. The author should avoid using the phrase "Similary" and should instead use a phrase like "Similarly to Margot." Additionally, the author should avoid using the phrase "being annoyed" and should use a more descriptive verb like "harassed" or "bullied."

Close Comments When I compare my personal experience with the experience of Margot on the planet Venus, it shows me that some people aren’t always good with people of the other race. The kind of attitude the children in my school in Belgium showed me and the kind of attitude the children in Margot’s school showed her has made my understanding clear of the theme “loneliness” and it also reminded me that one of the worst things to do in life is to create a feeling of loneliness in other people’s heart.

The essay has a clear focus on the theme of loneliness in the short story "All Summer in a Day" by Ray Bradbury. The essay is organized into three paragraphs, each one discussing how the plot, the way William treats Margot, and personal experience relate to the theme. The sentence structure and grammar of the essay are adequate, although there are a few errors in punctuation and capitalization. The essay lacks a clear introduction and conclusion, and the transitions between paragraphs could be smoother.

What can be improved
The essay starts with a general statement about loneliness and then briefly introduces the short story "All Summer In A Day." The writer should have given a clear introduction of the essay's purpose and main points. The transitions between paragraphs could be improved by using transition words or phrases. The writer should have given examples to support their argument about the theme of loneliness. For instance, the writer mentions the way William treats Margot and how it made her feel lonely, but they did not give any examples from the text to support this claim. There are also a few errors in punctuation and capitalization that should be corrected. For example, "wrtitten" should be "written," "antogonist" should be "antagonist," and "unit" should be "until."Finally, the essay could use a conclusion that summarizes the main points and leaves the reader with a final thought.
