Patient-centered care is based on the ethical principles of medical practitioners. It also considers patients’ decisions, personal preferences, and lifestyle and society values. Patient-centered care should consider what the patients desire to have in the hospital environment even as they receive treatment. The patients’ decisions should always be given the first consideration in order to make their stay at the health institutions comfortable. Patients should be treated according to the lifestyle they lead. Inadequate treatment of patients or a rather provision of services that are of low level of the patients is a mistreatment of them. Quality treatment is a motivation to the patients to keep staying at the health center.

Society values in health care provision, more so patient-centered health care is critical in boosting the relationship of patients and the community as a whole with the health institutions. Good society values must be maintained during the provision of services at the health centers. Bad morals like raping patients while indoors are not the expected values the institutions should keep in patient-centered care facilities. It is habitually quite easy to discover the wrong than the right; hence the patient-centered care centers should always strive to archive what is best. Archiving what is best also works in building the reputation of such centers.

Patient-care ethics should become familiar to the health institutions. The patient-centered cares ought to have some basic guiding principles that control all the activities taking place at the centers. Ideally, high quality of self-sufficiency should prevail at the centers. The services provided should be satisfying to the patients under care. Such centers should be advised to avail modern facilities for accurate activities. Availability of sufficient facilities helps in avoiding time wastage that is unethical in medical practice.

It is entirely ethical to provide services at relatively low cost, bearing in mind that people are from diverse backgrounds. Low prices at the patient-centered cares provide a broad access to the community surrounding such institutions. A lot of vigilance ought to be taken while handling patients who are under care at the facilities. It is quite unethical to treat patients carelessly since the action may trigger some severe conditions in the patients’ system.

Knowing that I am from a humble background, I cannot have a second thought for visiting a patient-centered care with high costs. Life has to continue even after receiving the services at the patient-centered cares. I will probably walk away when the costs involved are enormous and unaffordable to me. High costs would create some difference in between the upper class, the middle class and the lower class in the society.

Sufficiency in patient-centered cares is very critical when it comes to professions of individuals. For instance, my job as a military officer would require quick and efficient services so that I resume duty. The situation mentioned has always been the case during wars, where a lot of emergencies happen. As a military officer, I would be very contented with the services if they can enable me resume duty.

There are risks that often patients are exposed to while they are under care. Patient-centered cares should be located in a relatively convenient location with the risks involved reduced. A patient care with a lot of risks involved is not ideal for staying. Everybody fears being exposed to danger. Personally, I would not attend a patient care that is vulnerable to many threats since life is very precious.
