The work, study and travel is a great way to get to know foreign cultures, to develop yourself and to get a many experiences. A person, as become the main character of my article, is my family friend Tove Wictoryn. We meets with her on a small and very quiet Café in the city. She will share "The Canada experiences" with me. Primarily, Canada is one the popular and livable country in the world and the favorite country of my main character Tove… " .. I did work in Canada and would like to tell you, how it was with me. My work in Canada was definitely different than normal, but it was the best time."
She begin her first voluntary job in March 2014. Her big dream has always been in California, also she was looking for opportunities to came to the US. Canada was not even on the screen with hers as a country until then. She could fall in love with this country later. Tove is 30 years old and she is from Gothenburg and she has been living in Canada for 18 month. During the studies in Sweden, she did a lot of work as a waiter and part time job to fulfill her dream of US.
She managed to save enough money for the ticket and for the another costs, while she will be get a job. Tove wanted just a new life and to paint hers life with the new colors. " ..I would like say it, that to live in abroad is broadening your own horizons and creative new friendship. Today majority of my friends are Canadian, we communicate every day."- says Tove. She had registered with the international network of voluntary works on organic farms and got a commitment near Vancouver Island and agreed that she would stay four weeks. And her job in abroad began with it. She thinks that, her volunteer job in Vancouver Island was a great experience.
The farm specialized in herbal and vegetable growing and she helped to grow various types of vegetables. The four weeks passed quickly. Later she moved to Vancouver and decided to look for another job in gastronomy and started in a bar." ..Do not make too many plans, it will always be different than you think. Enjoy the time, let yourself drift and just do what you feel like and what feels good right now. For example I did not really have Canada on the screen before, but convinced of the total opposite."- says Tove. A the end of her time in Canada she did not begin to see what she planned before, but that is, what she lived for. Because she has worked a lot and earned well in her two gastro jobs, her job time in Canada was also significantly cheaper than Tove thought. She only had to spend just few part of hers reserve and arrived back a well- filled account.
