Based on the contents of the short story “A Message To Garcia”. My thoughts are such as these, they correlate with each other. Let me explain, Rowan was summoned and given a letter contents are unknown for whom it was unknown he didn’t ask a single question and took three weeks to deliver the letter by the time General Garcia dead. So my thought of the whole idea is for not! It is such an unrealistic ideal to have someone completely blindly follow orders with no questions ask, no disgruntled opinions and wholeheartedly carry on with such tasks as finding a single person who wasn’t mentioned by name or rank, just “..To Garcia” such a thing wouldn’t happen in our current organization. What this story means to me is of course a half-hearted effort by the author to use complex compound sentences with lack of background evidence to over exaggerate an overly competent idealistic solider who can get tasks done by any means necessary to the upmost without knowing the task at hand and where to begin. Yes a solider with those qualities does seem very impressive and a godsend but is like I said unrealistic and would never come to pass. If such a soldier who to exist in any militaristic force he would take charge of any army and be able to conquer the battlefield as if taking orders by god himself!
