Athletic training has been an interest of mine since my senior year of high school. During my senior year, I suddenly tore my ACL and I couldn’t finish the basketball season. I was devastated. My high school had a great athletic trainer who was there for me the whole injury up until surgery. Seeing exactly what they do first hand was interesting to me, so I did some research on their procedures.
Athletic trainers work with doctors to treat and avert ailments including incapacities, impairments and functional confinements.
