These day people in the common era don’t seem to realize what the word hero means. This is due to the amount of celebrities and sport athletes that are famous. We are not realizing not every famous person is always a hero and just because of their fame. We are still noticing the ones that get on the news for being a billionaire and not caring for the real hero’s the ones that work minimum pay and still find ways to help others in a community, even billionaire’s aren’t involving others except themselves. So, who is the true hero.

In the modern Australian context we all see heroes as footy or sport stars or celebrities. They value a lot more than a fake hero they value love, care, protection, work-ship and family. The behaviors they exhibit is respect and taking responsibility. They help our communities and respect the world environment.

My hero is my older brother Luke I look up to him as he is my older brother and inspires me to help other and to respect and care for others. Luke is a hero for me but is for my whole family and community as he shows love and compassion into it as if was a part of my family.

Luke is my chosen hero because of his work ethic and inspiration. He values love and care, his attitude towards people is formal and polite, his behavior is always good and not rude, he’s achieved a lot such as in basketball and in school. His impact on the community is amazing and an example is he’ll wake up early and pick up rubbish in the community and help others.

Luke is a hero to the junior student of Mazenod in sport and basketball giving up time for us. His value to the basketball is his work-ethic and love into coaching and training us. His attitude is rough and strong to make the team stronger, he behavior with manner and respect, his character is also kind with achievement of the coach award and has impacted our team a lot like in last year’s final.

To the community Luke is a hero in many aspects. He values the whole community as a family, his attitude towards the community is beyond great to the people that admire him. So, as his behaviour and character both match up to be the perfect guy that loves to care and act on the place. He has impacted a lot of people lives such as mine when he coached the local basketball community and has achieved awards by the community as one big thank you.
