My Project – Mobile-based Business Solution for Services Providers

By studying and analyzing critically works of different literature and applications that provide similar services offered in my project, it was revealed that there are a lot of loop holes in their approach to the problem which I’m working in my project. There are many Service Providing platforms in different parts of the world but their projects are based on online Web Pages. My project is mobile-based business solution. Smartphones are almost used by every individual in the current modern world. Therefore, I have used different approach to the existing problem and that is making it easy for the people to avail the services at their doorsteps on their fingertips and also enlarge the business of Companies who are managing “Fixture Services” through mobile application which is simpler and easy to handle.

Fixture Services based on websites are more difficult to handle as well as are time consuming. Moreover, there is no real-time tracking system and the request may take hours to be responded and processed. Businesses are realizing the fact and value of mobile apps. According to the latest Survey of 2018 by “Statista”, 36% of the population of the world uses smartphones. The same organization provides statistics and predicates that by 2020, 51% of the whole population of Pakistan will be using smartphones. Because of this fact, Mobile applications are becoming an important part of the businesses and entrepreneurship. Through my project these businesses and entrepreneurships can expand more effectively, because it’s not a tiresome work and even doesn’t need greater money to invest. The admin can even manage the business from his/her bedrooms because there is no need for a huge P.C or even a laptop. A small smartphone can manage this single application which has all the required features available in it.

Why a mobile app? Because it is more convenient for the customers to use, it engages customers more effectively, they are more suited for user’s attention and re-engaging with the them than just a responsive webpage, it is always on their home screens and always logged in. It also has “Push Notifications” option which keep the customers connected to the business. Mobiles have become the companions of peoples more than then humans, we see people being busy in mobiles whether they are in office, university, home or on somewhere else, they will always have mobiles with them. Therefore, it is likely for the company to keep close contact with their customers or vice versa. The Rawah app provides solution through distinguished features from already existing “fixture Applications”. The available literature was extensively researched but nothing was found which can provide the complete fixture-services on single application. However, there are fixture services providing applications but they have a single domain category for example there is a single application for Car Washers and Mechanics, it includes no other features, for availing the services of an electrician customers will have to install another application and so on. This is hectic and also it requires more storage memory. Rawah project has all the Fixture Services in single application thus it requires less storage memory and is very simple to handle. Inside the application there features for the “Services Providers” which make it attractive for them. Torch, Digital Measuring Tap and many other features are present in the application so that there will be no need for carrying an extra torch or measuring tap by technicians.

The app also shows real-time tracking map which makes it easier for the “services Providers” to reach their destinations easily. Users’ requests will be dealt by the company “Admin’s Application” so it will be reliable and secure for the customers to avail the services through this application because the company will be responsible for providing quality experts. In case of any mis-hap or any other criminal offence from the side of the Services Providers, the company will have all the record of the Services Providers and it will be easy to track them and find them out.
