I’m very pleased to recommend Mr. Ioan Cristian Iacob for employment with your organization. I have known Ioan Cristian for over 5 years during which time he worked as a malware analyst/researcher at two different employees, having the pleasure to be his colleague at both places of work. Not only was he a key player on our team, but he also become a close personal friend. I have been consistently impressed with Ioan’s attitude and productivity during the time that he has worked with me.

He started his career at CyberInt National Center on malware analysis almost 5 years ago and have incredible increased his knowledge and practical hands on analysis skills. Ioan is always informed and up to day with the new trends in malware news and security domain in general and has a good trained memory to keep all the important information after one read. He also has his finger on the pulse of technological trends and provides content that’s both useful and captivating to readers.

He is an excellent team player and always helped any colleague in need of new information or another opinion on different malware samples. He also writes on his newly created blog, which is well organized and very detailed in the information provided.

I can say that he is almost married to his work/knowledge, hunger for new information, as he spends a lot of his free time to practice and read new articles. He is very dedicated with every project he starts, and doesn’t rest until it’s perfectly done, and more, after he finishes he double checks alternatives to be sure that that was the best way of solving the major parts of the project.

He has knowledge in forensics, networking, scripting, clustering, hunting and many more, his principal most important one being in malware analysis which he loves so much and gets better every day I see him.

He would use strategic tactics, like search engine optimization and social media metrics, to take web presence to the next level.

Cristian is also astute at recognizing how past experiences which are not literally identical can still be applied to new positions with similar qualities. His preparation and screening abilities are excellent which help create the win-win in the end for all parties involved in the daily work.
