Plop! There I went, diving into a flowing clear stream all the way from the top of Mt. Everest. I've been on quite a journey, you see, floating up to this big white puffy cloud now. Oh, wait! I haven't even told you my name. I'm Molly the Molecule, and my life's one heck of an adventure. I go up into the sky and hang out in clouds, then come back down as snow, rain, or even hail. That's 'cause I'm part of this thing called the water cycle.
Right now? I'm inside a cloud with all my pals! We just got hit with a cold breeze, and I can feel myself getting icy—turning into sleet! Whoa! Here we go, falling as sleet! New York's gonna get loads of snow this week, lucky them—no school probably! Looks like we'll land on a glacier soon and then evaporate again.
And off we go once more—up, up we go! Plip! Plop! Now we're in this big dark gray cloud. What's it gonna be this time? If ya look down there—ohhh here we go again! Falling as fun white snowflakes this time!
But oh no—ouch! Bad landing—I ended up by the lake but on some plant instead! Just sitting here… Kinda boring... Maybe I should sing or something? Oops—a cow just chomped the plant and swallowed me into its mouth. Ew, pink fleshy place... But guess what? Didn't like me much 'cause bam—I was spat out and flew across into an underground river through some drain pipes straight into the ocean!
I stayed in the ocean for days. You know how it is with us water molecules—you don't stick around too long anywhere! There were millions of us hanging out, tanning (can we even tan?), swimming… Just having a good time until… A shark gulped me down!
I yelled at him to let me go so I could join my friends again. After a day or so he coughed me out finally—but ouch—I bumped my head on some green submarine thingy!
Sucked inside their water purifier next thing I knew—and suddenly found myself with a toothbrush under tap water being used by some lady brushing her teeth yuckily enough for sure!! That was new for me—never did that before.
She spat me back out though; rusty pipes took me right back where I'd begun—the sea!
Didn’t stay long though—got sucked back into clouds again fast this time thinking might be stuck forever maybe? Just when thinking these thoughts became raindrop formed plip-plopping down landing hot dry riverbed somewhere looked Aussie-like hadn't seen rain ages!
Big river lots molecules swarming around felt great seeing friends once more who were also there enjoying time together till got sucked another machine sending all over rusted pipes taps dropping ice tray turned solid form fast cold cube deal crazy huh?
