Zhexin Xu proposed a sophisticated adaptive multichannel MAC protocol,to significantly improve the utilization and fairness of the time-slot allocation scheme needed for VANETs. The proposed protocol is based on the concept of SD-TDMA. The motivation is that the collision users can again participate in the allocation scheme of time slots as soon as possible after the start of SCHI. Compared to existing methods, it was shown that our approach can more efficiently and dynamically allocate time slots according to the detection topology, while simultaneously reducing transmission collisions through a user detection procedure. The simulation results were shown to be in agreement with the mathematic derivations. In future work, other multiple access technologies will be employed to improve the spectrum utilization[8].
XIAOPING YANG et al studied redundancy in perimeter forwarding of GPSR, they proposed an MMGPSR routing protocol based on GPSR In greedy forwarding, they introduced the allowed communication area and cumulative communication duration, perimeter forwarding when greedy forwarding fails, they introduced the minimum angle. By comparing the angles of neighbor nodes, the neighbor node with minimum angle will be selected as the next hop the time complexity analysis, compared with GPSR, MM-GPSR does not add the time complexity their proposed MM-GPSR has a better performance than GPSR[9]
LAISEN NIE et al proposed an spatio-temporal features of traffic matrix are taken into account in anomaly detection, and a CNN-based anomaly The hierarchical convolutional and sub-sampling layers extract multi-fractal and low-rank features deeply for network traffic estimation. Additionally, a threshold-based method is referred into our approach for the further anomaly detection. By analyzing the proposed approach applying to real network dataset, the simulated outcome declare that their proposed method can identify the anomalies in normal traffic flows exactly for VANETs[10].
Zhihao Ding proposed an improved routing protocol in VANETs by modifying the forward procedure of existing GPSR routing protocol. The highlight of our proposed routing protocol is that we reduce the delay and strengthen the reliablity of routes. They optimized the next hop selection strategy of the well-known GPSR routing protocol by using mobility and MAC delay estimation. The method in our routing protocol is based on the vehicular electronic devices which can provide a large amount of vehicular information. They added mobility information(speed and direction) and MAC delay estimation in next hop selection strategy to make the route more reliable and decrease delay[11]
Kuldip Singh Atwal et al approved an delegating control functionality among a global controller in clouds and local controllers on each OBU, it provides an opportunity for V to-V, V-to-I, as well as hybrid communication they implemented two applications to demonstrate efficient mobility management and QoS support of the proposal[12].
