Photography Career of Rodney Torres

Rodney Torres is a Filipino celebrity, travel, portrait and fashion photographer. He was born March 14, 1978, and is based in Manila, Philippines. Among several of his capabilities, he is well known for his publicity shoots of actresses Donnalyn Bartolome and Meg Imperial. In the same way, his theatrical photos which were loved by the whole industry were for the Jacqueline Comes Home. He has been successful in taking photos of Karen Gallman engagement announcement. He is a Binibining Pilipinas 2018 winner.

The professional began his photography career as a travel photographer before he shifted his focus on taking people’s photos. He began doing this in the middle of 2017. His photography style has been defined as photographs that appear to be paintings made of techniques named Chiaroscuro and Sfumato. He has integrated these techniques successfully into his photos. He has worked taking photos of celebrities including Donnalyn Bartolome, Meg Imperial, Marco Gumabao, Karen Gallman, Kat Gumabo, Michele Gumabo, Ryza Cenon, Louise delos Reyes, Yoha Hwang, Vitto Marquez, Vanessa Wright, and Gab Lagman are few to name.

Torres is also known to work perfectly in beauty, fashion editorial, and commercial photography projects. Having entered the industry in mid-2017, he has been doing great and getting excellent feedback from his clients. His photos grab the attention of the people since the beginning. Viewers have always seen the emotions well captured in the photos. Rodney has drawn inspiration from a number of professional photographers from around the world. Some of these include the Annie Leibovitz, Dan Winters, John Keatley, Joel Grimes, Chris Knight, and Joel Grimes. He has showcased his talents in capturing the images of well-known actors in the world.It was back in the year 2012 that he introduced Giclee printing technology in his home country named the Philippines. At this point in time, he is the sole distributor of Canson Infinity, Somerset, Hahnemuhle, Breathing Color, and Moab Paper. Since the photographer is a fine art printmaker, he holds an IPA certification in Color management. He has practically produced several prints for the artists, photographers, top corporations, celebrities, and last but not the least in Manila. He has covered a number of exhibitions in Manila such as NBA exhibition and FIBA Asia Basketball.

Though his entry in the photography field has been delayed after being in he has been doing wonders. He has been doing wonders with everyone regardless of the age, gender, or diversity. No one believes that he is a self-taught photographer dedicated to spending a large time in learning and then applying the ideas and concepts to his photography since last year i.e. 2017. So far, he after entering the photography has done so many wonders that question in the minds of people is that what is next in line for this photographer. Time will answer this question however, one thing confirmed about this young and talented man is that he will enjoy a bright future. His hard work will take him to the new horizons in no time.
