The Reasons Why I'm Proud to Be Canadian

I am very fortunate to live in Canada. Some people live in developing countries that cannot afford the opportunities and benefits we are granted here. I am very proud to live in Canada because it is very diverse. Canada is very diverse country because of its physical features, climate, culture and its sports and recreations. Canada is the second largest country in the world which is what it gives it so many diverse physical features.

Canada has many physical features especially the large bodies of water such as the rivers and lakes. Worldwide the largest river is the Mackenzie River which is located in between the Northwest Territories and Yukon. This is very important to Canada because it is a large resource of water which other countries lack. Equally important, Canada has many open green spaces in Manitoba and Nunavut. These green spaces provide more land to settle on rather settling in overpopulated areas such as Toronto, Ontario. Comparatively, Canada also has another physical feature which is the high mountains such as in Alberta, Quebec and near the northern part of Canada. Mountains is a very important physical feature for Canada because mountains produce plenty of wealth for us which is demanding in today’s world. Therefore, Canada is very diverse in their physical attributes.

Canada is part of and known for many sports and recreations, in the world. In Canada, we play and win both winter and summer sports such as skiing, hockey, snowboarding and ice sailing. Most importantly we take part in the Olympics in 2010 and we surely get awarded as golds,silver or bronze medal winners which make us proud to be known as Canadian. Uniquely,we also have many recreations such as national parks over the range of Canada. These sports and recreations make us proud and supposings shows us deserves by how active we are as a country. Moreover, Canada is a nation that is actively involved in a diverse amount of sports.

Canada is diverse in their intake of climate and culture. Throughout the year in Canada, we can get to see various climates. We have the fours seasons which include winter,spring,fall and summer which forcast many weathers such as rain, shine, snow, hail, thunderstorm, lightning, foggy, etc. These climates individually diverse Canada because not all countries around the world get to experience many forecasts. For example, in Australia it is most oftenly warm and they never see snow or harsh winters. Experiencing the four seasons are on of the main reasons of why I love to live in Canada. As in the seasons we also we diverse by having festivals and carnivals. During the winter, in quebec their are many festivals which show the flexible diverse in Canada.

To conclude, due to Canada’s diversity, I am very proud to live in Canada. Canada is diverse in many ways: through its physical features, sports and recreation, climate, and culture. In Canada its physical features are very important that it standouts of the region. The sports in canada are very diverse and active.
