Representational artist draw what they see. Representational Abstract art is the more basic out of the three; nonrepresentational, representational and abstract. It’s also the most essential point of styles, perhaps, is type or category, whether a work. Google states that “representational art references objects or events in the real world.” Romanticism, impressionism, and expressionism contributed to the emergence of abstract art in the nineteenth century. Representational abstract art tries to portray actual objects or subjects from actuality.

Realism, impressionism, idealism, and stylization are categories that portray representational art . Forms of representationism are realism, impressionism, idealism, and stylization, all of the forms represent actual subjects from reality. Representational abstract art also portray the largest collection of artwork that has been created over time. Frequently, representational artists act as commentator, and clarify what they see in their own way through their work. Abstract art, non-figurative art, non-objective art and nonrepresentational art are related terms.

All art consists largely of elements that can be called abstract—elements of form, color, line, tone, and texture. Abstract art can be more than just lines and shapes. It can have a deeper meaning to it to form a picture. Abstract art is a painting or sculpture that does not depict a person, place, or thing in the natural world. Abstract art has its origins in the 20th century. Abstract art breaks away from drawing art as it is represented in real life. Abstract artist draw paintings and sculptures based on how they feel not necessarily what they see. Abstract art isn’t about making a real life picture.

Unlike representational abstract art is the process of itself. Forms of abstracts are surrealism, dadaism, cubism, fauvism, neoplasticism, de stijl, suprematism, and art informel. Georges Seurat created abstract art with a technique called pointillism. Pointillism is the process of using dots to create people and places. Wassily Kandinsky used form and color in his abstract art. Abstraction indicates a departure from reality in depiction of imagery in art. Artwork which takes liberties, altering for instance color and form in ways that are conspicuous, can be said to be partially abstract.

Art that aims for verisimilitude of the highest degree can be said to be abstract, theoretically. Non Representational abstract art can be seen as emotion, colors, lines shapes and things that aren’t visible. Nonrepresentational shapes are those that are not meant to refer to anything we can see in the real world. Abstraction indicates a departure from reality in depiction from figures or objects. For example picasso fall under this category because his paintings and sculpture are figures often simplified, distorted, exaggerated or geometric.

Nonrepresentational art is also sometimes called complete abstraction, bearing no trace of any reference to anything recognizable from the real world. It reflects the vision of the artist and is in total contrast to representational art.
