Muslim women are increasingly not given a free choice about wearing clothing, and those who resist are beaten, threatened with death, arrest, flagged, or murdered for the honor of their family. Being fully covered does not mean that you will not be harassed, stalked, rape, and beat around in public places. Nor does it stop the husband from taking multiple wives and girlfriends. Moreover, a fully covered female child, as young as the age of ten, is still forced into getting married to older men who are old enough to be her grandfather and is not allowed to leave him, not even if he beats her every day and treats her vulgar.
The British department back in 2010 allowed Muslim nurses and doctors to wear sleeves for religious reasons but people overall should have the right to know the identity of the person they are in front of in order not to feel deceived. On the other hand, there are a lot of side effects for women wearing a burqa, she may feel as if she cannot breathe properly, that she might slowly be suffocating, also she may feel like she is buried alive and may become anxious or claustrophobic.
Wearing a burqa is also hazardous to your health in different ways. People who tend to wear burqa for a lifetime may suffer eye damage and may also contract diseases that are also related to vitamin D deficiency from sunlight. It is questionable that women in the sunniest regions have been found in need of high levels of vitamin D supplementation owing to their overall covering. In comparison to when they walk out into the blazing hot sun, they tend to gasp for air through the sheer black fabric. In conclusion, the burqa is harmful not only to the wearer but to others as well. The sight of women in burqas can be frightening to people , also signals the subordination of women. There are many specific problems associated with wearing a burqa and niqab.
First, the body and face covering hides the wearer’s gender, also from a security point of view, face and body can unleash a various act of violence and lawlessness from crime and cheating to terrorism. This is a danger towards many people, so, therefore, it has been taken very seriously by Muslims who banned the burqa a certain ground. These concerns are not difficult to understand given the widespread use the burqa and niqab for weapons smuggling and terror attacks, including suicide bombing. In some countries, female drivers are barred from wearing the niqab for security reasons. This regulation came into effect because authorities were pursuing sleeper terrorist cells and feared that individual cell members could use the niqab to slip through checkpoints unnoticed.
To conclude this, covering one’s face in public has no peripheral and only limited forward vision; hearing and speech are muffled; facial expression remains hidden; movement is severely constrained. Often, no eye contact is possible; niqab wearers sometimes wear dark glasses, so that their eyes cannot be seen, and in my opinion that can be a life threat to the world.
