About California

In ancient times, California was not under U.S. territory. Later in 1850, it became the 31st state. California is the most populous state of the U.S. It is the 3rd largest state which covers 423,970km sq. with a 39.6 million Population. Sacramento is the capital of the state. It contains millions of acres of farmland for agricultural production. California grows about 3.3 million tons of wine grapes each year. It is also famous for cultural institutions and national parks like Disneyland, Yosemite National Park, Angel Island, and The Golden Gate Bridge. It’s also known as the “Land Of Milk and Honey”, “The Grapes State”. The motto of California is “Eureka “which means “I have found it”. In California, 220 languages are spoken by the residents. English is the official language of California, about 58.1% of residents use English. The ratio of other languages that have been spoken in California: Spanish 28.8%, Chinese 3.0%, Tagalog 2.2%, and other 7.9%.

There are a total of 482 cities in California. In which there are 3 cities that exceed a population of over 1 million. The largest population is in Los Angeles i.e. about 3.9 million, San Diego with 1.45 million residents, and San Jose with 1.03 million. Further ranking of cities is San Francisco, Fresno, Sacramento, Long Beach, Oakland, Bakersfield, and Anaheim.

What attracts tourists to visit this state?

California is a state which attracts visitors from all over the world for the wonders of the modern world. There are lots of recreational things like parks, beaches, and Hollywood studios. Along with these places, there is a place that specifically captures the attention of children with lots of cartoon creatures. That place is known as Disneyland.

One of the largest National parks is located in the Southern California Desert named as “Death Valley National Park “. It is the lowest, hottest, and driest national park with lots of adventures. It is famous for sailing stones.

Another park is Yosemite National Park. It is one of the popular destinations which is located in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It enhances the natural beauty of the park with its giant, ancient sequoia trees and tunnel view.

It is the best to place for family vacations with hiking trails and the best views.

San Diego‘s SeaWorld is a wonderful theme park located along the waterfront in Mission Bay. It is full of adventures for instance rides, shows, roller coasters, and various natural attractions. People can also enjoy the marine ecosystem in family-friendly activities.

Universal Studio Hollywood

This studio is a fascinating place in California, the perfect vacation spot to enjoy with family. People enjoy fantastic rides, roller coasters, restaurants, shopping, dining, thrilling movies, and so many other things. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Fast and Furious, and The Walking Dead are some of the most popular attractions of this park.

Disneyland Park

It is located in Anaheim. It is an amusement park with numerous rides and recreated world and culture. Maximum crowds are found in the park when the children are out of school for summer or winter break. It is a magical and fantasy world for kids.

Golden Gate Bridge

This iconic golden gate is located in San Francisco. The orange frame of this gate contrasting with the blue water of San Francisco Bay makes it more beautiful. It is the first word that comes to mind when people talk about San Francisco.

Universal Studio Hollywood

Some wonderful divisions of this studio are Springfield, The Walking Dead, Raptor Encounter, The Ride-3D, Water World, Jurassic Park, Studio Tour - Tram ride, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Hearst Castle

It is a historical monument. It takes up over 28 years to build. It has 165 rooms. From the top of the castle i.e. about 1600 feet high we can see a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean and Santa Lucia Ranges. A huge collection of art is present inside the castle. It’s the drive of 4 hours from LA and San Francisco to the castle.

Santa Clarita

I think Santa Clarita is the best place for commencing the journey of California because it is centrally located for all visiting places in LA. It gives never-ending opportunities for running, hiking and swimming, and biking. Santa Clarita will definitely attract more tourists because it is conveniently located near Universal Studio Hollywood, LA zoo, Hollywood Burbank Airport, numerous museums,s and much more.

Universal Studios Hollywood

I think this studio is the station of entertainment for all age groups. It has a spring field that will attract kids, it has Jurassic park for older and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter that will attract teenagers. And the second thing about the study, all the basic needs of the visitors like food, accommodation, etc are easily be fulfilled that will fascinate more visitors to this wonderful place.

California fulfilled all the desires of tourists and met all the expectations that one had while visiting California. The mountains, lakes, waterfall, trees, etc. of Yosemite National Park provide a natural habitat for nature lovers. The list of beautiful destinations of California is endless.
