As I delved into crafting an "Inception" movie review, I found myself immersed in the intricate world of Christopher Nolan's 2010 science fiction action masterpiece. The movie is about Dom Cobb, a professional thief who invades the dreams of his targets in order to steal information out of their deep subconscious. The movie stars a lot of famous actors like Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and a lot of other people. Inception was filmed in six different countries, beginning in Japan and ending in Canada. It won 4 academy awards: Best Cinematography, Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, and Best Visual Effects. When I was searching for information about the movie I found a lot of websites explaining what the movie is about and other people asking for a good explanation of it so I hope the movie isn’t too hard to understand like they say.
The movie is about Dom Cobb, he is a professional in entering people’s dreams and stealing information from their without them knowing. After he did this to Saito, a rich and powerful man, but failed he ran away but Saito found him anyway. Apparently it was a test to see how good he was. Dom has 2 kids in America but because people suspect him for killing his wife he can’t return there. Saito can help return him to his kids if he helps him with stopping a company from getting too much power. He had to place an idea in the mind of the owner of the company and make him think it’s his own, this is called inception. He wants him to subconsciously repair the relationship between father and son so the son would dissolve his fathers company. Arthur, one of the people who helps Dom, doesn’t believe that inception is possible but Dom does. He finds other people to help him. He has a team of 6 people who help him pull off an inception on the target on a plane. The plan is to give him 3 dreams in each other, it’s complicated and there ae some problems when they start the first dream. Apparently the man had learned to protect is subconscious before and people start shooting at them. At first they think it is no problem because if you die in a dream you would just wake up. But because they had to be asleep so deep, because they would be in 3 different dreams, they wouldn’t wake up and would just be stuck in a place in your mind, the limbo, where time doesn’t exist and where it’s hard to escape. This was a big shock for everyone and they needed to be extremely careful. To know how this ends you will have to watch the movie.
I liked the movie a lot. At first I thought maybe it wasn’t very good and it was too long, but when I was watching it the time just flew by. The movie is complicated but that’s one of things I like so much about it. You really have to think sometimes and there are a lot of plot twists, for example when you think it’s reality but they’re actually in another dream. There was almost always a lot of action going on and that was very good. At some point there were people in 4 places at the same time, in all different dreams, you really had to focus to understand what was happening at that point. Even sometimes I was confused I liked it a lot. The only thing that was very unclear for me was the end. I don’t know if they’re still in a dream or not. But I would really recommend everyone to watch this movie because it’s very good and not boring at all.
