There are many characters who are involved in this story in the absolute diary of a part-time Indian. The story basically unfolds several themes and artistic facts. There are also a number of literal elements that are present in the story set. The main character who clearly comes out in the story is Arnold Spirit, Junior. He lives in the Indian reservation near the town of Wellpoint in Asia. He typically grows in that environment setting and therefore attends school from that place. He is however very excited to study from that place, especially for his high school studies. In his studies, he aims at studying Geometry. However, Junior`s school comes to stand still for a while when he is suspended from school. His parents really get upset following the suspension from school. However, Junior`s teacher advises him that he should not study from the reservation and therefore advised junior`s parents to take him to a school that is off the reservation. Therefore junior begins school at the Reardan high school and his life goes on smoothly. This conceptual paper, therefore, analyses the story and gives a brief summary of the events that unfold in the setting of the story.

The setting of the story is in Washington State and the context is basically traced some seventeen years back that is around early 2000. There are still other several styles of language that have been used in the story. For instance, there are several aspects of foreshadowing that are evident from the context. These would include, Junior, calls his sister, “Mary Runs Away.’ This basically shows that Junior refers to a future event that would later be evident as the story unfolds.

There is a conflict that develops in the story setting and this is basically between the junior and Rowdy. It is on whether or not Junior and Rowdy will be able to get back to their friendship after Junior goes to a school off the reservation. The relationship, however, symbolizes juniors struggles to make ends meet and to unite back his past. However, Junior ends up succeeding in his new school and finally leads them to victory against his former school and this, therefore.
