A recent example of this was seen in China where a brain surgery was performed by a doctor who was sitting 3000 miles away from the patient. All was done by a robot operated by 5g wireless technology.

In terms of transport cars are going to be driverless as the cars will be connected to centers by the help of wireless technology.

The world’s big telecommunication companies are in the race to gain the control of 5G. Why? Because the 5G will revolutionize the age internet and technology. It will also have an impact on the global distribution of power.

Currently four main countries China, USA, Japan and South Korea are in the race for having 5G but two main competent are USA and China. The situation between two countries is extremely tense due to gain the control of 5G. But why USA and China are fighting for the gain of 5G. Let’s see.

The nation having control of 5G will generate the revenue of about $500 billion and would create estimated 3 million jobs. According to the study by QUALCOMM, in year 2035, 5G will generate the revenue of about $3.5 trillion and approximately 22 million jobs. Not only that, a country controlling 5G will have access to everything people are doing on the internet.

Currently China is way ahead from USA in gaining the control of 5G. Huawei which is a Chinese company is far ahead from any another 5G developer and its testing its 5G technology in different countries. It has $24 billion infrastructure in China with 350,000 5G towers, on other hand USA has only 30,000 5G towers.

USA is unable to catch China in the 5G technology so it’s pulling China’s legs by banning Chinese telecommunication companies in USA and companies like Google and Qualcomm blacklisting Huawei. But still China is far ahead to gain 5G and many are saying that USA has nearly lost this race.

On 22 August 2019 Zong hosted an event where they tested speed of 5G technology. Zong also shared this speed of 5G on twitter. And after this speed test Zong became the first network in Pakistan to test 5G.To use 5G we should have 5G enable device in Pakistan. In market there are less devices which support 5G and their device are premium flagship level.5G devices present in market are minimum from 180K to 200K Rupees in price.

Now a days in Pakistan there is not any network which is 5G enable. P.T.A gave permission to Zong in limited way. P.T.A allowed Zong to test 5G in limited area. Commercially in Pakistan there is no any network with 5G technology. Zong just tested 5G technology which has a separate Pitch of salt. The GIGA bites speed shown in test is in best environment. While in a reality when 5G technology will implement in Pakistan then this speed will be very low in the start. In the Zong 5G test they show high latency but in reality when it will implement the latency will be very low.

To implement 5G in Pakistan the Government will allot frequency spectrum. As we saw in 4G that there was an auction of 4G spectrum and different network bought some parts of spectrum and they implement 4G.Similarly in 5G technology the Government will auctioned spectrum of 5G.And then the hardware will emplace then the feeders of 5G will be fixed in different part of the country. And the 5G will be implement. In U.S.A 5G technology is also in is testing stage. But it is available in specific area of some city.
