The Best Fragrance in The World is The Smell of Money

The only difference between a dreamer and an achiever is that dreamer just has his dreams where as an achiever has money to achieve his dreams. Good morning to one and all present here. And my topic for the day is, “The best fragrance in the world is the smell of money.”There is no reason you shouldn’t be rich and flaunt it. The most common quote which the poor people say is:“Money can’t make you happy” or “Love is all you need”Yes, it can make you very happy. But it is a matter of how you plan to use your money that will make you happy. When the rich flaunt something, you see that the rest of the world gets furious. When Ambani built the Antilia, people criticized that he should have used that money for some social work for Mumbai. Antilia is one of the most expensive house in the world. The people who react so negatively when they see the rich flaunt their wealth, it reminds me of the relationship between the lions and the hyenas of the African Savannah. The lions work hard and catch the fast-moving gazelles but the hyenas end up cornering the lions and attempt to steal the prey which the lions have hunted with great difficulty.

The hyenas do not have the capacity to hunt. But they will try to steal from the hardworking lions. Isn’t this how the rich are viewed? We need to tax them more, we need greater control on their earnings, ‘he must have bought that sports car with black money’ and we tend to say, ‘dad’s money’. I look at this as the rewards of being rich. If you are rich, you will realize how few of you exist. You are an exclusive club. When I see the sales of Mercedes or BMW. They say only a few thousand of each have been sold. Imagine that, you are in a country where there are more than1 billion people and you are among a few thousand who own these brands of automobiles. In the natural world, the fastest gazelle has less chances of being eaten and the fastest cheetah has less chances of going hungry. In case of humans, more money you have the greater is the chances of survival for you. Being rich allows you to get the best car so you go home in the rains while enjoying the air conditioning in your car. You can be safe with the seat belts and the air bags. You can get adequate support for your back because of the well-engineered seating. Being rich gives you increased chances of survival in this harsh world.

Let me show you something here to help you understand how being rich makes a difference. Imagine a patient who is on his deathbed and needs a heart transplant or a brain surgery which is ultimately going tocost lakhs of money. If he is poor, he cannot afford the treatment whereas a rich man with the same problem can buy his life easily with the help of his money. The wealthy can afford better healthcare facilities, education services and eventually a better lifestyle.Money will build your lifestyle and it will help you get recognized in the world and most definitely it will make you happy. Ever noticed that when these IIT or IIM placements happens everyone looks at the salaries these students are getting and never the type of job that they are doing? See how money gets you attention. And not having it also gets you some bad attention. Remember all those dreams that you guys post on Facebook where you talk about traveling the world and buying some expensive car or bike? Each of your dreams comes with a price tag. Do you think sharing something on Facebook will get you somewhere? I find it hilarious that people want to share such pictures when I never see the wealthy folk share such things because they are working to fulfil whatever those pictures say. Have you ever seen Bill Gates posing with his Ferrari, or Mark Zuckerberg posing in his Armani suit. No, because everyone knows they are rich enough to afford these things and they don’t look at it as a luxury commodity.

People need to realize all their dreams have a price tag. You want a dream house, the price tag on that is Rs. 5 crore or more. You want to travel every year abroad; the trip cost is going to be Rs. 10 lakh or more. You want a fancy car, be ready to shell a minimum of 50 lakh. We all have these dreams but we are never taught to understand the numbers behind them. There is a belief among many of us that millionaires are evil and in order to be spiritual you need to be poor. Some believe that more money can only be earned through the wrong ways. They say, “You can’t earn stone palaces by honest labour. ”These beliefs are usually propounded be the wealthy people, because if this happens there will be a stiff competition for the wealthy. The repercussion is that poor people actually believe it and give up their hopes and desires of earning more and being wealthy .Don’t we see people like RatanTata. His so rich but at the same time he so humble and down to earth. He donates more than 30% of his earnings to charity. If a person is good he will remain good whether he is a rich or poor. But if he is poor he can just have some noble ideas, it doesn’t do any good to the society, but a rich person can actually implement these ideas in the form of charity, social service, public welfare and what not.

Don’t believe in all these illogical theories. Go out and earn as much as you can, the world awaits people like you. But remember, don’t start hoarding the cash. Theories prove that spending money gives you more satisfaction than hoarding it. Spend it, and enjoy your life, for God has blessed you with this opportunity called life utilise it to the maximum.
