A credible figure in NFL, an athlete, basketballer, footballer, an American Football Wide Receiver who is an elite as confirmed by Sports analysts, won lot of awards based on his versatile attitude towards football. His name is Jordy Ray Nelson.

Nelson was born on the May 31st, 1985 in a town called Manhattan, Kansas in the United States. He grew up in Riley where his fore-father had a farm which served his family for about 4 generations. He went to Riley County High School, of course, he grew in Riley he should study within the town. While in school, he joined the falcons. However, in his senior year, he completed 62% passes for 1029 yrds and 8Tds. This made the Manhattan Mercury call him a Flint Hill Player. Adding to his exceptional performance in football, he averaged 17.2pts/g as an all-state basketballer who triumphed in an AAU Championship in 400m race when he was ten years, the state title in class 3A 100m race, time spent for the race (21mins 64sec), 400m time spent (48mins 79sec) and a jump of 7m Long jump. He also attended Kansas State University.

Nelson mother is Alan Nelson while his father is Kim Nelson. They both reside in Riley.

Nelson’s wife is called Emily Nelson formerly known as Emily Rothlisberger while they were dating. He grew up with his wife in the same town and attended same schools right from kindergarten. She is a kindergarten teacher at Fort Howard Elementary School in Green Bay. She believes so much in charity that she helps Jordy in his charitable endeavors. However, the couples took “Young Life Green Bay” charity program as most vital. The program matched adult leaders with children to build genuine friendships. He and his wife hosted the annual Young Life Green Bay Fall Fund Raiser on more than one occasion. They had three children named Royal Nelson (son), Brooks Nelson (son), and Adda Jo Nelson (daughter) although Adda Jo was adopted in 2017.Height, weight and other measurementNelson has a height of about 6 ft and 3 inches. He weighs about 98kg. His arm length is 32.5 Inches and hand size is 10 Inches.

Career

While in College, his career started in 2004, where he was set to play a defensive game but due to change in position, that is, from defense to wide receiver, he recorded no meaningful statistics in the session.By 2005 season, he trapped 45 passes for 8 Tds. However his best act was in a game adjacent to Oklahoma where he had 3 rec for 107 yrds and 1 Td.By 2006 season, he was enlisted for an award by Biletnikoff being an award for exceptional wide receivers. He was prevented due to an injury, although disappointing. Notwithstanding, he also had some achievement in the season.By 2007 season, due to his previous disappointment, he did his best against Auburn, Missuori State, Texas, Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma State, IOWA and Nebraska. However, adjacent to Frenso was a defeat and the end of his college career. He won an All-American honours, became a finalist in Biletnikoff award after capturing 122 passes for 1606 yrds and 11 Tds.

By 2008 season, he started in Green Bay Packers, after being chosen in the 2008 NFL Draft. He was elected third wide receiver alongside Donnie Avery as first and Devin Thomas as second in the draft. He finished with a 33 rec for 366 yrds.By 2009 and 2010 season, he expanded his role while with the packers winning lot of passes, reception, touchdowns.By 2011 season, he won his First Super Bowl Championship. He increased his function with the packers of which he achieved a better performance. This led to signing of a three  year contract, worth $13.35 million on 2nd October, 2011. However, he continued to increase his ability and chances that he had a career of 15 Tds, 68 rec and 1,263 rec/yds. He was later ranked 80th on NFL Top 100 players of 2012.In 2012 and 2013 season, he continued to soar higher that he became PRO Bowl Alternate for a second time.

However in 2013, he fell to 83rd on NFL Top 100 players of 2014.In 2014 season, he signed a four year extension contract worth $39 million. He continued soar higher that he became the 1st Packer to have 200 or more rec/yrds in a single game.In 2015 season, he was in serious injury that restrained him from participating in the season.In 2016 season, feeling more better he worked on better chances on which he recorded 97 rec, 1,257 rec/yrds, and 14 Tds. He won award like Best ComeBack Athlete and was ranked 48th NFL Top 100 players by his peers. In 2017 season, his performance dropped because his teammate Rodger was injured. He ended the season with 53 rec for 482 yrds and 6 Tds. He played 10 seasons with the Packers. In 2018 season, he signed a 2 year contract with Oakland Raiders.
