The Effect of Study Habits on Quality Writing in English

I chose the methodology for my research proposal intending to get information and understand past research on advanced composition. The idea was to generate interests of the audience on how the study behavior affects composition writing. The best composition earns a reputation to a student. Allowing enough time for research is a part of developing an excellent essay in English. Therefore, a student should not wait until the last minute to prepare an advanced composition. A poor quality comes along with inadequate research. Research time varies, depending on the type of essay, according to how the student understood the topic and the frequency of subject lessons. Some subjects, take much time to understand, for this reason, one should start early. A thorough reading of the topic is a requirement for a quality essay, guessing on what the question is asking is a risk leading to a bad quality essay.

The composition instructions can bear the nature of the research. Therefore, further research will yield a quality essay. What the student has learned is a guide to starting research, the awareness of the student gives a way of identifying a breach in their knowledge, to avoid time wastage. Known knowledge provides direction to research and allows for specificity in student's efforts to find out certain things. A brainstorm start is a way of self-introduction to work for student's English essay. If brainstorm does not yield enough ideas, an understanding of the topic before digging into more research will work. Jumping to the end of the topic yields low-quality essay and for this case, a source will sway a student from other sources. For example, using the internet as a research source is good, but a physical library can provide more information. The choice of methodology was the main problem in this proposal, but finally, I used a survey method, where the audience filled the questionnaires.

Allowing adequate time for research is vital. If a student starts writing without enough research, it will certainly manifest in the essay. A student should factor in a longer time than he needs. Some concepts take long to understand than the way student expects, so a long time is an advantage. According to research, a student makes much difference with time management, and as a result good grades. Sharpening one's writing skills determine the time put into practice

The courtroom witness swears to tell the truth, just truth. Likewise, a student pledges to answer question relevantly. A student can manifest brilliance with enough demonstration. However, if he/she is irrelevant on the topic then, it is time wastage. In short, a student needs to re-read the question to get understanding. Extrapolation of nonsense from the data collection is a reason for question misunderstanding. Students usually worsen situations during English essay writing. The reason is not language barriers or poor English understanding but because of failure to understand the concept which is an attribute of rushing in reading the problem.

A well-ordered composition implies a good English essay. A student needs a plan to achieve a quality essay. Making a list of the contents in short, form sets a start to writing an essay. A logical order of thoughts and plan focus will ease the writing. Note taking should be clear, concise with accuracy. It should organize the texts logically and show how the ideas are related. Reading the question for subsidiary notes and looking for their relationship gives a clear way of taking a task.

Time allows for further research on what a student did not well understand. A student expecting a quality essay needs to manage the time and constraint himself to some specific duration or otherwise catch by the time. Time constraints can limit a student preparing for an essay. Poor grades are attributes of trying to tackle much research within a limited time. Overcoming time constraints needs a well-planned schedule, and the research places to tackle.

The main thing for writing an essay is to understand the question related to the topic. One way of gaining an understanding is through reading the question severally. The agenda implies what the question asks, and it gives direction on what to write. Determining what a student is supposes to research, and what he needs to investigate and the unknown gives a clear direction. If a question is about analyzing, a student needs to consider the factors consisted of the work. Compare requires setting answers side by side showing the differences and similarities.

As a student is reading the instructions, he should take notes instead of assuming to remember at the end of the instructions. However, a student needs not to write everything, just a brief summary. Irrelevancy will come out where there are too many points. A student needs to be precise and to give an arguments summary of the question. Neglecting note taking though is taking a risk on what a student wants to write. Student needs to make a point followed by another in order of necessity. A writer can choose to use numerals and letters in making notes.

The counts of class hours have little effect on the quality of an essay in English, considerably of the occurrence at that time student spent in class. However, the research hours influences the composition quality. Despite spending many innovations on administration and curricula, the student's study time is crucial. The attitude and willingness determine the learning hours that the student spends in research to improving writing.

It is risky for a student to start a composition without understanding the question. A student should read the question severally, and note the key points of the instructions for him to understand. The instructions may manifest the student’s research. Answering a question to the student's ability requires an understanding of it. The student's answer to an essay question should be relevant, and misunderstanding leads to a waste of time in tackling irrelevance.

Efficient writing needs an essay breakdown into its components. The student uses the constituent parts as he/she is taking notes. There are main reasons why a writer should take notes, that is, it initializes the writer's concentration, therefore, making a sense out of the essay question requirements. A student can retrieve the information from the written notes if a similar task comes later.
