Yes, you may visit and take tours down the canyon. All around the rims of the canyon, there are lodges and shops. Depending on where the hostel is located they can be costly. Some hotels can go up to $90. Along with the stays you can walk along the rim and also go down. You can take rafts, mules, hikes and even fishing in the canyon. But you better bring some water, it is a long way down. And you might want a guide or someone who knows what he’s doing because there are still animals in the area. Believe it or not, the animal you need to watch out for the most is a flying squirrel. The squirrel is known to attack tourists and be very hostile. There is also a little native town in the middle of the canyon located 3,000 feet down. The village is also the only place to receive mail by mule.
Thus all the dangers, the marvelous Grand Canyon is a great place to visit, and maybe even live. The old caves and cliffs are one of the most beautiful ever. The lodges with beautiful sceneries are fantastic. The tourist events are marvelous. The mules, rafts, and hikes are peaceful.
