The Hidden Messages in 12 Angry Men, a Film Directed by Sidney Lumet

In the movie 12 Angry Men was a dramatic story about a case where 12 jurors which had different behaviors. The men were ranked on different social classes had to decide on the case of a teenage boy stabbing his father. It took a lot of desushing on if the boy is guilty or not guilty on stabbing his father. This movie is an allegory which the story had hidden meaning of which objects were symbols in the case. The symbols are the jury, eyeglasses, and the rain.

Allegory is a story , poem, or picture that can be interpreted to reveal a hidden meaning, typically a moral or political one. The case of the boy stabbing his father was not easy to solve guilty or not guilty because the facts were not there some were symbolized by hidden emotion of others and how they solved it. The emotion of the jurors were hard to figure out who agree on if the case was guilty or not guilty. The knife which the boy stabbed his father had a hidden meaning on how the boy used it to kill his father.

The 12 Angry men movie is an allegory with several hidden meanings which ideas are represented as symbols. The three symbols are the Jury, Eyeglasses, and the Rain. The whole jury symbolized the argument on the case to agree on a same subject. The eyeglasses, the lady at the court case had eyeglasses said she saw the boy stab his father, but in the court she switched character and said a different story which was the opposite of the case. Eyeglasses means a switch of character look wise and emotional.

In the story the rain symbolized the tension the degust of the result of the case. The jurors were getting fed up on the argument of the case and when the rain poured the jurors seen degust of what the case could be guilty or not guilty and when the rain stopped everyone know it was not guilty.

In conclusion 12 Angry Men had several hidden messages of thoughts and feelings the jurors had. The message was reprosent as symbols on how to figure if the case is guilty or not guilty. The hidden message put people on edge on knowing the result of the case.
