N-Nourishing U-universal and R-realistic S-services to E-everybody

My own meaning of nursing is dealing with my patient in general; utilizing my insight, knowledge and skills, being compassionate and humane with self-awareness and sincere. Dealing with the care of the; spiritual, physical and emotional aspect of the patient, and taking into consideration their family as whole and environment.

I chose midwifery course at first then proceeded to nursing as my profession because I truly believe that the desire to help people through nursing is a calling, and I feel drawn toward helping those in need. Nursing is a respectable career even if not all of us Nurses here in the Philippines blessed with righteous salary. My mission is to proudly provide open-minded care to those in need regardless of spiritual beliefs, lifestyle choices, financial status, or disability.

My personal philosophy is that nurses as a provider of all the services that can be relevant to the client health and thus can promote healing. Providing information that may prevent the occurrence of a disease or controlling the spread of a health concern that might affect the entire population. Attends request for a service when needed. Integration of ideas gained from trainings, seminars, and the learning through self-reading on research articles. Nurses must have a guarantee to keep current information and abilities and see self-upgrade through unending learning. By doing this, we won’t stay stale in our convictions; however develop expertly through proof based practices and techy advances. I will continue learning especially at work, in my own home and in the surroundings that I kept roaming in. We should also strive to model positive healthy behaviours in our own lives in the belief that we will provide better care to others if we care for ourselves first. Although it is so difficult to sustain healthy lifestyle, but in order for us to be a role model in the community, I need to keep abide the laws and guidelines as a health worker for myself concern and to the community where I am assigned. As day to day exposure to the ordinary people special bond and interactions may evolve.

My own basic beliefs and convictions as an individual are generosity, genuineness, persistence, continue learning, financial security, emotional stability, family relations, and accomplishing my objectives. This values and beliefs may help in my daily decisions. The characteristics that make a decent Nurse cannot be stopped toward the finish of the duty however it is a part of a piece of me as an individual and I convey them with me generally. To experience my methods of reasoning every day, I should recall despite the fact that I generally attempt to put forth a valiant effort in my daily task at work, I am just human, I can do mistakes sometimes. On the off chance that something does not go well as expected, I will look at the circumstances and gain from it. I will proceed with my work with certainty that I am a better health worker than the day preceding and I will be an expert nurse tomorrow that I was today. I will likewise set aside effort to screen and consider my very own activities to verify I am remaining on the path with what I have confidence in are best practices of a health worker.

We ought to maintain our own and expert moral benchmarks consistently. At the point when we discover strife between our own convictions and those of our client in the community, we should try to seek a help from our seniors to guide us. As a Nurse, we should promise to take responsibility for our very own activities. I should recall that my co-workers having extra talent and performed their works well. They merit regard and acknowledgement for their hard work, unwavering quality and learning. Nurses in the community should support and help members in the team like the Barangay Health Workers, Barangay Nutrition Scholars, Midwives and other health care providers to have a good and positive working condition. As a Nurse, we can do our part to improve the picture of the nursing profession through day to day hardworking attitudes as well as contribution in the community, political, socio-economical, and professional nursing organizations. Through these gatherings, Nurses can jointly improve human health services models both locally and globally. My most significant commitment to nursing is my inspirational standpoint throughout everyday life, eagerness, and the capacity to offer hope to clients, their family and to the entire community. The contribution I hope to make to nursing in the future is to be a coach and be a motivation to others to go into the health care profession. I would also like to contribute healthcare quality started from every household in the barangay. A healthy home makes a healthy barangay and thus a healthy community.
