The Most Exciting Films Coming Out in 2018

2017 was blessed with so many good films, though it also has some disappointing run. Now, 2017 is over and 2018 is here! Most of the critics already verdicts that superhero films will win in 2018 just like the past couple of years. Asides from superhero films, there are many more films is slated to release in 2018. Here are the glimpses of most exciting films coming out in 2018!

1.Avengers: Infinity War

Marvel’s superheroes are back in business and they are facing much more powerful, ruthless and vicious antagonist ‘’Thanos’’ this time. This film is undoubtedly the most anticipating films of 2018. Avengers and all its allies must take responsibility and willing to sacrifice in order to protect the entire universe from the destruction of Thanos. Director duo Russo brothers are expecting a huge roar upon its releases. The members of the ‘’Guardians of the Galaxy’’ will also team up with Avengers superheroes.

Black Panther

The first superhero film of 2018. It will release on February 16 and it is, undoubtedly, the biggest treat for Valentine for superhero fans. It’s good to see Marvel universe is expanding in an African nation which is called as ‘’Wakanda’’ and the nation is isolated and much more progressive in modern technology.

Jurrasic World – Fallen Kingdom

The sequel of the previous film Jurassic Park(2015) is releasing this year. Four years after the destruction of the theme park, Owen and Claire is returning to save the surviving dinosaurs. The island’s volcano rises this time. Owen and Claire both have to act first to save the existing dinosaurs from the dark paw of the volcano. Jurassic World – the Fallen Kingdom is releasing on June 22, 2018.

Deadpool 2

The R-rated antihero will be back in this summer. The first film of this franchise was a huge hit for 20th Century Fox across the world and no wonder the sequel was ordered after that. This film is expected to be full of fun at superhero genre which was the main catalyst behind its success. It will be, indeed, R-rated like the first one of the franchise! Deadpool 2 will open at the theatre on June 1, 2018.

Tomb Raider

Tomb Raider is back in action with a new look and new adventure. Alicia Vikander has been replaced Angelina Jolie as Lara Croft. Lara Croft’s father has been disappeared since she her teenage days and now she is looking for her father’s incomplete research and uncover ancient secrets. The Warner Bros film is slated to release worldwide on March 16, 2018.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix

When Fox announced there would be a new X-Men film will come soon by the end of 2018, there was a great bundle of joy everywhere. After an emotional tribute of Logan, it will be a nice treat for X-Men franchise lovers. Production is expected to begin very soon and it has already gotten its released date on November 2.

Aquaman

Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa will act in the Aquaman standalone film. That’s old news. He already made a brief debut in Batman Vs Superman film and he also had more substantial and larger role in the Justice League film. Now, he is getting a self-titled film. The filming will begin soon as Aquaman aka Arthur Curry is getting busy. Starring alongside Momoa Amber Herd as Mera, Nicole Kidman as Queen Atlanta and Yahya Abdul Matin –ii will be seen as Black Manta, which is famous for Aquaman’s arch-nemesis. It means the fighting with Black Manta will be the control over the ocean. The oceanic superhero will show his power harnessing ability in Christmas period.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

The upcoming Warner Bros fantasy drama is the prequel of JK. Rowling’s Potter series. Like Potter films, this franchise is also expected to full of magical things. The Crimes of Grindelwald is slated to release on November 16, 2018.

Mission: Impossible 6

Tom Cruise will be back with his team in his latest spy flick. This is the sixth installment of the highly popular spy saga. The shooting is almost over and took the place of the various spots in New Zealand, UK, Norway, France. The film is expected to be released on July 27, 2018.

Mary Poppins Returns

Disney’s revival of old popular characters continues with the upcoming musical fantasy film. Emily Blunt will be seen as Mary Poppins and this film generally fills the gap of 54 long years between the film sequels. Mary Poppins is scheduled to release on Christmas day in 2018.

Venom

When Sony announces the release of Venom, moviegoers go frenzy and many people expecting it will fill the pot of Sony’s movement towards the fictional franchise. There’s not much news about this film and it is expected to be released in the last segment of 2018.

The spin-off series of 2000 era’s popular heist film already gets its release date. The spin-off series will be dominated by women. Warner Bros will release this spin-off sequel on June 8, 2018.

Mamma Mia 2

The romantic, musical, comedy film is the sequel of 2008’s Mamma Mia. Pierce Brosnan, Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried, Colin Firth will reprise their roles and this film will be in the theatre on July 20, 2018. The Equalizer 2 Denzel Washington starrer action flick will be released on August 3, 2018. This is the sequel of 2014 film The Equalizer.
