Why these ten are important and how what they did came to the known later on in the years. In the Exploration period which was 1776 much literature of the native American's were lost. Many tribes caught disease's which were brought from North America by European's.
Captain John Smith (1580-1631) he had wrote the first American book called A True Relation. He had also wrote a book about how Pocahontas who was the local chiefs daughter had saved his life from the "savages". however many thought he exaggerated in the book.
Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) had the first printing press in Cambridge Mass.1638.

Hennery Schoolcraft (1793-1864) he had written about his exploration down the Mississippi river which had helped along the way for travels back in that time. He had also written about the condition and prospects and believes of many Native American Indian tribes. Which had help the people back then learn more about the native ''savages".
Noah Webster(1758-1843) He had decided to write a dictionary about the English words and what the meaning of the words . This was called American Dictionary of American Language 1828 was when it was created. He is important because that book has been passed down many generations. Jonathan Edwards was important because he was the greatest puritain preacher and, the ologan. He wrote essay's defending his teachings and tradition list. Edward was a leader of religious revival movement in The Great Awakening.
Anne brad sheet was a poet . She wrote a poet about love to god, her husband, and family. her most famous is The Tenth Muse Lately Sprung Up In America. She is important because this was during the exploration period which was then the colonial and leading to the romantic period.
