Nowadays, people tend to engage in using drugs. Drugs are nothing but certain substances that make you addicted to them and change your lifestyle. The change that comes within your lifestyle are negative. It is known to alter truth in such a manner that you fail to recall your background and become likely to to yielding to your wicked ways. The core transformation come from into your rational and physical wellbeing. This leads to economic difficulties and negative effects on personal and even social connections. Around four million people die of lung cancer, narcotics, and alcohol overdoses as well. It is about time that we realize and remain as far away as possible from the severity of substance addiction.
For years here and now, our community has been under the rule which considers drug addiction as a crime. The usual method-confinement is used by our community's proposed laws as a means of reacting to drug use and its resulting substance dependency. When we say 'imprisonment' we mean that substance abuse offenders and the crimes connected with it are thrown in jail, without any adequate measures to stop the psycho-physical nature of substance dependence. It is important to remember that the community has now established the concept that substance dependency, such as addiction to alcohol and illicit drugs, is not simply a simple addiction, but rather a serious neuro-physiological issue that needs treatment and somehow they ignore others factors.
What we are worried about is that the regulation seems to neglect the more complicated problem caused by drug abuse inside and among the lives of the addicted individual. Which isn't to suggest that addicts are solely victims, but even though drugs have rendered their moral stance affected, they are still responsible for the acts they have done. However, if we are focused on providing a penalty that seeks to rebuild and stop offenders from re-offending, so we will assume that the legal system provides the necessary solution.
The government must be able to enforce a strategy that effectively incorporates the promotion of a better system as a resolution. The primary function here is to do the following: 1) convict the criminal-addict 2) cure their addiction and 3) strengthen the justice system, tighten the law so that it will frighten people to do so. The primary intention is to improve the law and enable drug users to battle their dependence on drugs.
This resolution demands law change. Changing the law, slowly but surely to ensure that the offenders have learn their lesson and have been cured to their dependency to drugs and guaranteeing that the law is providing requires steps. We must teach people about the current situation of law and order. Here we are living in a world that individuals are much more willing to listen to facts than to let emotions get in the way of moral reasoning. All we need today is for us to pave the way to a more democratic way, and we can encourage our politicians to stand up for an integrated solution with the support everyone, so that people can actually develop the confidence to speak out.
