Personality is a broad term that is used to refer to a set of behaviours and emotions that evolve either biologically or through the environment; it is a product of motivation and interaction with the situation. Raymond Cattell defines personality as traits that predict a person's behaviour. Therefore, a character can be used to refer to individual behaviour traits which are acquired through learning. The psychology of personality explains the disparities regarding conduct among individuals. Also, different individuals have different levels of understanding, thinking and feeling as well as sociability (Gordon 44). The significant five assessment has been used to test the personalities of people basing on five important dimensions which are: Openness, conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism (Gebauer, J. E. and et.al.77). In this article, I am going to write about the nature of my personality based on the results scored using the five dimensions.

Openness reflects my character. I was awarded 81%, which indicates the true me. On all occasions, my thinking is abstract and complex. The transparency in me has contributed to my large-scale connection of theoretical concepts in nature. I like appreciating artistic ideas in general. On several occasions, I have been on the frontline of creative imagination; I am the epicentre of consultation by my peers on matters of creativity. In a given science fair that was organised back in my elementary school, our science club which I was heading by then was awarded for its creativity. Again, the trait is assisting in exploring my scientific career. Also, arts and science have never escaped my daily operations. During leisure time, I usually do engage in cultural activities such as dances and artistic designs which are among my favourites.

I scored high in Extraversion, approximately 69% from the test score. I strongly agree with this character. Personally, I have grown up from an environment that provides me different opportunities for grasp as well as challenges. Despite this, I always put my trust in the environment to provide solutions to these letdowns. Besides, making friends, seeking power and admiration are my hobbies. For example, on a particular occasion when my family and I had to shift from our original home of residence, I felt lonely because I was going to lose my friends. However, little did I know that this was a temporary feeling? On the same day of the change of residence, I managed to acquire new friends indicating that I pose a friendly character. On the other hand, setting goals for my future life has never shifted from the true me. I am always ambitious because I believe that answers to my problems are within the environment.

Agreeability is another domain of traits that I strongly posses; I scored highly in this because this is a character I cherish. I have always been brought up without the word ‘I' because when used brings out the sense of oneself. I also tend to believe in putting other people’s needs first which automatically qualifies me as a kind and compassionate fellow. Again, On a particular occasion, I recall assisting my friend with the only pen I had to use in an examination while myself was left to borrow one from a friend use to write in an examination. On the other side, People who always fault me have finally turned up to be great friends with whom we have formed an everlasting friendship till to date.

Also, I firmly believe in my conscientious because it has never let me down. The score in this domain was excellent; it describes the ability for me to exercise self-discipline. Being hardworking and orderly in my working is what lifts me to these great heights. Back in high school, I received many gifts for being a diligent student. The excellent performance a registered at the end of the course was also a product of my hard work and desire to achieve the set goals. I was very cautious in my working not to be distracted by side impulses. Finally is the fifth component of neuroticism. Here, I scored poorly because, in the real sense, I lack this character trait. The tendency of experiencing negative emotions, fear, shame and anxiety is past tense in me. My true characters do not match with these components. Typically, I am optimistic and confident with life. I have always believed that my future life is full of ample opportunities which have eventually contributed to my success. From the time I began the journey to academic achievement, I have always been having hopes that finally, I will make it to the end. That's why, until this moment, my educational endeavours have been successful. In conclusion, I have genuinely been made to understand that the personality of an individual is the actual image of his/her mental position (Bousquet and et.al. 150). Again, characters are the determinants of the true ‘you' and what others perceive about self; they influence the success of an individual as well as the ability to form bondage with friends and surrounding.
