Sometimes we associate our feelings and emotions through songs, especially if we are broken hearted, sad or happy. I grew up in a neighborhood where in music is part of their everyday life. At dusk the old folks gather with their guitar, bottles of whiskey and some good old story. It’s nice to reminisce those good old days specially the ones that are remarkable.

Particularly, remembering your first dance, first kiss, first crush and the first time that you were broken hearted. All of those will leave a permanent mark on your memory. Thus, experience from the past will help us on what we’ve become today. “The Contralto singer”Patsy Cline was an American country music singer with a mixture of the Nashville sound during the late 1950’s and the early 1960’s. In addition, she was also known for her rich and expressive tone. She is one of a kind singer with her unique crying style for her ballad songs made her even sensational. Although, she did not finish her studies, Cline helped her mother support their family. She was discovered at a local radio station back then. This led to her appearances in nightclubs wearing outfits that her mother made. Above all, those performances helped her to gain her spot in the music industry. The all-time favorite “Walkin’ after Midnight”Have ever been broken hearted?, have you ever felt that your world was broken into pieces?. Well, that’s the message of the song. It’s a story of a girl that has been broken hearted and she is still longing for her lover.

Furthermore, song is full of emotion and pain. I walk for miles along the highwayWell, that's just my wayOf sayin' I love you, I'm always walkin'After midnight, searchin' for youThe song was written by Donn Hecht and Alan Block, at first, Cline did not like the song she referred to it as “just a little old pop song”. Eventually, the song made her win the “Arthus Godfrey’s talent Scouts” in New York City. The song reached No. 2 on the Country Chart and No. 12 on the Pop Chart. This is one of her masterpiece that lived through time. Her spectacular talent and vocal ability influenced other singers mimicking her style.

Expert Review
The essay presents a heartfelt exploration of the connection between music and emotions, using Patsy Cline's "Walkin' after Midnight" as a focal point. It effectively conveys the nostalgic influence of music in personal experiences, such as first dances and heartbreaks. The background information on Cline enriches the narrative, highlighting her unique vocal style and her journey to fame despite personal challenges. However, the essay could benefit from a more cohesive structure; some sections appear disjointed, making it challenging to follow the central theme seamlessly. Additionally, while the emotional impact of Cline's song is discussed, further analysis of its lyrical content could enhance understanding for readers unfamiliar with it. The language used is vivid but occasionally lacks clarity due to abrupt transitions. Overall, the essay captures the essence of music's emotional power but would be strengthened by improved organization and deeper lyrical analysis.

What can be improved
The essay offers a sincere reflection on the emotional ties we have to music, particularly through the lens of Patsy Cline's "Walkin' after Midnight." To enhance its impact, a more cohesive structure is needed. Currently, the transitions between ideas can feel abrupt and disjointed, which may confuse readers. Establishing clearer thematic connections between personal memories and the song's message would create a more fluid narrative. Additionally, while the essay touches upon Cline’s background and her struggles, it could delve deeper into an analysis of the song's lyrics. A closer examination of specific lines would enrich readers' understanding of how Cline expresses heartbreak and longing, allowing them to connect more deeply with her experience. Furthermore, although the language is vivid at times, some sentences lack clarity due to awkward phrasing or punctuation errors. Revising these areas for improved readability will help convey emotions more effectively. Overall, by focusing on structure and lyrical analysis while refining language clarity, the essay could significantly elevate its exploration of music's emotional resonance.
