The song “Wildest Dreams” by Taylor Swift in her album 1989 portrays a love story of fictional celebrities Marjorie Finn and Robert Kingsley during the shoot of the film "Wildest dreams" in Africa. According to the fictional story, the relationship between the actors commence during the shoot of the movie and it goes well, but due to some misinterpretations, they terminated their relationship. Since the movie was not complete they had to work together in some scenes of the movie together which they hated to do. Even though Kingsley was mean to her Finn always wanted to get back with him but it never happened. On seeing Kingsley with his spouse in the movie premier at the Hollywood, Finn becomes distressed, but tries to hide it and runs away as soon as the premiere finishes Kingsley follows her after realizing his love but everything was already over.

I like this song because there are no comparisons involved and is straight to the point, the voice of Taylor Swift and the rhythmic beat of this song which does to cover the singing but aids the people to get in the mood of the song and enjoy it to the most. Not only the music and singing which is noteworthy but also the amazing visuals which treat our eyes and bring us back to the 1980's which is known as the golden age of movies with the unique antiques and vintage cars. Seeing all this we can know the tremendous efforts that go into the filming of the song and the dedication of the actors, which can be easily noticed by their excellent expressions. Which furthermore enhances our experience makes us sucked into it.

My favorite lines of the song are “Say you'll remember me Standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset babe Red lips and rosy cheeksSay you'll see me again even if it's just in your wildest dreams” These lines are the verse of the song, it means that the tune is repeated with a different lyric each and every time. I like this set of lines because these lines show the affections of Finn towards Kingsley, she hopes that Kingsley remembers their memorable moment in a date when they stared at the sunset, she is not confident with their relationship. In spite of having a deep meaning which is buried within it the lines are really catchy with the suddenly rising tempo of the song and the raising pitch of the singer Taylor Swift.

The second best set of lines according to me are “You see me in hindsight Tangled up with you all night Burn it down Some day when you leave me I bet these memories haunt you around” These lines of Taylor Swift make it seem that Finn is cursing Kingsley that her memories will haunt him if he leaves her, but it is not the actual meaning here. The actual meaning of these lines from the context is that Finn believes that Kingsley has some feelings for her so she believes that those memories will follow him like a haunted spirit and make him come back to her. The verse is repeated immediately with the word "follow" instead of "haunt" to make this clear to everyone. I like these lines due the clever use the words to describe the ghost-like nature of thoughts.

This song is one of the very best songs of Taylor Swift and has caught the heart of many people. It reached the 5th position in the Billboard hot 100 and topping many other charts. This song not only is good to hear but is created with a reason. It is to conserve the wildlife in Africa through the Africa Parks Foundation of America (APFA). Taylor Swift announced that all the profits that the song makes will be donated to the organization. Nowadays with the growth of heavy metal bands and rock music finding a song that calms our mind is a difficult task, this song keeps us calm, and also helps to preserve wildlife by donating the profits made by it.
