Understanding The Secrets Illustrated in Revelations

The End of the World is a mystery to many, not realising the truth is at their fingertips. Beliefs about how the world will end, or if it will end in the first place, is something that is molded through time and location, changing how we think about it. This seem as somewhat of a complex subject, but the truth is right in front of us; The Bible.

In the book of Revelations, most of the end is explained. With this, there are still many things we as humans don’t know or understand. This is where our faith as Christians come in, believing in Jesus. However, the Bible has provided us with a basic timeline of the endtime events that we will see take place. A few major events in this time includes The Rapture, The Tribulation, and the Battle of Armageddon. The list could continue much longer, as the Bible scatters many events throughout the entire book on this single subject.

The first out of many endtime events in chronological order will be the Rapture, otherwise known as The Rapture of the Church. This single action will take place, and begin the long chain of events, according to the Bible. The explanation of the Rapture itself is not extremely descriptive. What we do know is that Christ will take the believers of him along to Heaven, safe from what will take place next. This is also not to be confused or mixed up with the 2nd Coming of Jesus, where Jesus himself will descend on the clouds and defeat Satan once and for all. The Rapture on the other hand, as the Bible describes it, occurs within the “twinkle of an eye”. The Rapture itself is imminent, and will happen no matter what. The exact time of the Rapture itself is not listed in the Bible, as even the angels in Heaven do not know the day, nor the hour.

The next event, following the Rapture, comes the “Rise of the Antichrist”. This, as described in the Bible, a satanically empowered man will rise and become in control or the standing world, with the church out of the way with Jesus in Heaven. This man will try to deceive and destroy. With that said, he will come to power with the promises of peace and safety, obviously lying about his intentions with the power. He, however, will not be alone, as he is aided or helped by a man, as the Bible describes as a “false prophet”. This false prophet will enforce a religious system that requires the people of the world to worship the Antichrist.

The “Rise of the Antichrist” will happen during the next major event in this series of events, called the Tribulation. The Tribulation is a period of 7 years, in which the Antichrist, as talked about in the previous paragraph, will come to power. Of the 7 years, many different things or events will occur. The Tribulation, as spoken in the Bible, is separated into two sections; the first being calm, and the second, mass chaos. Continuing on that subject, the first half of the Tribulation will be unusually calm and in order. No war, no threats, or even fighting as a subject overall. The second half, as stated before, will be extreme chaos and havoc on the entire world, like never seen before. The Antichrist will be ruler, and the rules you must follow to live will be extremely harsh to live by. To trade, sell, or buy almost anything, you must have the Mark of the Beast, a mark on your right hand or forehead that symbolizes the Antichrist. You, nor anybody should ever accept this, even if it means dying because of it. War and fighting will be everywhere, and life will be extremely rough. Continuing on the subject of the Tribulation, the point where the Antichrist shows who he actually is and his evil is at the halfway point, when referring to the 7 years.

At the end, or close to the end of the 7 years of the Tribulation, the Battle of Armageddon takes action; Jesus’s army versus the Antichrist. Jesus returns from Heaven with his armies, and battles the armies of the nations fighting under the banner of the Antichrist. Jesus also saves Jerusalem, the capital the nation of Israel, from being destroyed. Both the Antichrist and the false prophet will then be thrown into the “Lake of Fire”, or “Hell” alive.

Following, the Judgement of the Nations will take place. Jesus will judge the survivors of the Tribulation, and divide them between two groups; righteous or wicked, symbolized by a sheep, and a goat. Soon after, Satan will be bound and held in a bottomless pit for 1,000 years. As this is going on, Jesus himself will rule the world, bringing peace and prosperity. During this period of time, Jerusalem will be marked as the capital of the world. Jesus and his believers will live for the 1,000 on Earth, almost as if it were Heaven itself.

At the end of the 1,000 years, Jesus will do what needs to be done to Satan. Satan will be released from the bottomless pit for a small period of time, where he decides to try to deceive the world all over again. He may seem successful when doing this, but this will be the end for Satan. Jesus will then cast Satan into the Lake of Fire for the rest of eternity, never to be seen again.

The final major event before “the end”, is the Final Judgement. The Final Judgement is where Jesus himself judges each human, and either casts them to the Lake of Fire, or brings them along with him to Heaven. After this, there are no more tests, nor chances to change. You have had the chance, and your opportunity to decide which side you would be on. You have been given plenty of warning, and now you may either be rewarded, or you may have to suffer to consequences for wrong-doing.

At this point, the final event takes place; the New Creation. All chaos is gone, Satan has been defeated, and Jesus has wiped away all pain, death, and sorrow. All that is left is Jesus, and the people of Jesus. Jesus will then remake both the Heavens and the entire Earth. Finally, Jesus’s people will live with Jesus in Heaven for the rest of eternity.

In conclusion, the End Times is a very complex subject, with many major events that take place within certain periods of time. There are also many detail that Jesus has not told, and that we will ever know before the fact. Some may have different beliefs, but one thing is for sure; God’s word never changes.
