I found out that parents’ love can motivate a child in everything he or she does. Parents are every child’s first idol. That is why it affects the productivity of a child positively when their parents noticed their efforts. It makes them feel appreciated and motivates them to improve more in what they are doing. There’s someone I know that is not in a very good condition with his parents. His parents were more focused on his sister until one day, his parents realised their mistake. They started to express their love towards him. After that, the boy feels motivated and passed his exam with flying colours. Just like Nick, his parents supported him from he was still a child until the moment he found his lover, Kanea and achieved victory in life. Thus, I wanted to highlight that parent’s love is important in a child’s progression to success in life.
Next, I learned that we need to believe in our self to succeed in life. With self-belief, confidence can be built. I realised that there are people who have more challenges and disabilities than me out there yet they never show any sign of ungratefulness. Without self-confidence, I will tend to think about other people’s perception towards me and that makes me scared to try new things. Sometimes, I just need to stop thinking of what other people will say and just satisfy myself with something that I love to do. I need to express my love towards myself and be happy. Happiness comes when you are being yourself. By that, I agree that when I have self-belief, I can achieve many things in my life and succeed.
Furthermore, what I learned is it is important to have my own nuclear family support. Support from someone that is doesn't really close to us, such as our significant other and our own kids will have a positive result. Sometimes, it does not matter if anyone else doesn’t acknowledge us because we will feel more motivated with our son’s supportive words. This is because they are the closest person and related to us the most. I, myself have a niece that I love. She always told me that she adores me a lot and acknowledge all my efforts on something. Even though she is just my niece, it does affect me in some way that makes me want to do more to impress her. In short, I do believe that it is important to have our own nuclear family support in order for us to endeavour more and achieve higher success.
