People who commit crimes for various reasons. These various reasons trigger with social, economic, and cultural reason. Also these factors trigger an individual to do criminal activities. These are some reasons why it causes individuals to become criminals. Social reasons are peer pressure, and school failure. People commit crime because of social reasons. The social reasons are poor parenting skills, peer influence, drugs, and education failure. Poor parenting skills includes when children are neglected or abused. Also when there are parents who have a permissive or a neglecting style of parenting. Which leads to education is a big part of committing crimes. Education is important because it will let you know the right from wrong in life. Parents neglecting style , tends to lead on to child/student to lack’s development attention and do what he/she feels like. Also, when don’t have any education it’s going to be hard for you to find a job that would pay you good or to find a job that you like. Economic reasons are poverty. Cultural reasons are hatred. The combination of these factors is behind a person who commits crimes. We live in a serotype world , were only certain type of cultural’s are known to lack social, education, and economic status which leads them on into bringing criminals.

Serial killers are killers who do not kill just one or two people; they are involved in series of killings. Do these killers find killing as being a pleasure or are they slaves to their own body and mind? Psychologist has been studying on serial killers for years and still there are many arguments on whether or not these killers are monsters or victims. There are all different kinds of excuses for these serial killers to kill. Are these serial killers’ natural born killers? I watched a talk show hosted by Ricky Lake a few years ago; a mother was afraid that her daughter might grow up to be a serial killer. The women daughter was five years old, she has already performed a few activates of killings. The mother seemed perfectly normal to me; she was a very caring mother. The mother explained that the five-year-old daughter put their cat inside the microwave, and once the mother had another child, the little girl tries to kill her little brother. When Ricky Lake asked the little girl why she wanted to do those crucial things, the little girl had a heartless look in her eyes, she said, because I like looking at bloods. I was so surprised how a little girl could feel this way; the weird thing is that in the backstage the little girl was somehow attracted to the other little girl who was also brought to the show for being a possible serial killer when older. The mother said that it seemed like those two little girls understood each other. Perhaps some children are born bad. In this paper I will explain why the possible explanations of people that commit crime especially a mass murderer and why they makes them kill people?

Background

Few years back we had a trained gunman, Stephen Craig Paddock Stephen Craig Stephen Craig Paddock (April 9, 1953 – October 1, 2017). He was an American mass murderer who committed a mass shooting in Las Vegas Nevada on October, 1, 2017. He killed over 59 people and around 515 injured. Just after 10:00 p.m. local time, Paddock firing from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay hotel down at the Route 91 Harvest Music festival, which was located in a fairgrounds area on Las Vegas Boulevard, hitting several concertgoers. Paddock committed suicide by shooting himself in his mouth as a SWAT team closed in on him. Authorities had located 23 firearms inside the hotel room, which he checked into on Thursday September 28, 2017, along with two platforms set up to shoot from. Paddock also had cameras to see police arriving. He had swung a heavy hammer to smash out two windows to shoot at the unsuspecting crowd of festival attendees.

Paddock had a “do not disturb” sign on the door for three days, so no housekeepers entered the room. He is believed to have used long range rifles. 12 of the rifles found in his hotel room were outfitted with a bump stock, which allows a semiautomatic rifle to fire rounds faster, mimicking an automatic weapon. Another 19 firearms were found in Paddock’s Mesquite, Nevada home on October 2, 2017, along with explosives and several rounds of ammunition. Several pounds of ammonium nitrate, which is used to make explosives, were also found in Paddock’s car. On June 21, 2017, Paddok was prescribed 50 10-milligram diazepam tablets by physician Dr. Steven Winkler.

Paddock purchased the drug under the brand name valium. The class of drugs can trigger aggressive behavior and psychotic experiences. Stephen Paddock held various federal jobs in the 1970’s and 80’s. According to the U.S. Office of Personnel Management, he was a mailman for the U.S. Postal Service in the mid-to-late 70’s; an agent with the Internal Revenue Service from 1978 to 1984; and worked for the Defense Contract Audit Agency in 1984 and 1985. Stephen and his brother Eric Paddock shared a real-estate business for decades, and when they sold it Stephen made about $2 million. Throughout his time in real investing, he purchased at least nine houses, condos, and apartment buildings, allowing him to live a comfortable life in semi-retirement. And also he graduated with a degree in business administration. So, he was a will educated person, with a wealthy family but what makes a person kill all that people if he lives a comfortable life.? Paddock described as a “extremely intelligent, methodical, conservative – guarded – and strategic. A planning, thinking type of guy”. ( The Guardian) .

He also was planning for additional attacks Paddock also booked a room at the Blackstone hotel in the first week of August, during the Lollapalooza festival in Grant Park. The hotel on S. Michigan Ave. is located right across from the park. second room was booked for August 3, 2017, and both rooms had an August 6, 2017 checkout, when Lollapalooza ended. Investigators also believe he may have scouted locations in Boston, Massachusetts.

A federal official stated that authorities are looking into the possibility Paddock also planned a car bombing. The official wasn’t authorized to discuss the matter publicly and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.

What makes a person a serial killer? Is it the community around him or t just because he enjoys kill people? What creates serial killers is it genetics or environment? It has been thought for a long time that people become violent because they are “crazy”. Other people have thought that people become violent because of a horrendous childhood that included abuse, neglect, and rejection. serial killers are always psychopathic, but not all psychopaths are serial killers. However, all psychopaths have many common traits. These traits involve family history, or genetics, as well as environment and experience. Now that the profile of a serial killer is known, one has to examine the characteristics of a psychopath. After all, serial killers are extreme psychopaths, so they will also fit this profile. Charles Montaldo, who wrote the article “Characteristics of the Psychopathic Personality,” says that a psychopath is incapable of feeling guilt, remorse, or empathy for his actions. He is generally cunning and manipulative. He knows the difference between right and wrong, but dismisses it as not applying to him. A psychopath is also incapable of feeling normal emotions like love, and often shows extreme egocentric and narcissistic behavior.

In addation he hypothalamus contains the brain’s center for sexual response and aggression, so hypothalamic damage can produce violent and destructive behavior. This can be centered on an abnormal psychological connection between sexual instinct and violence (White, 2001). These problems can result in an individual’s inability to separate sexual excitement and violence. So certain brain structures control certain things. Although one can clearly see that genetics, brain chemistry, damage, or dysfunction, or history of mental problems can cause a person to become a serial killer or psychopath, but that is not all it takes. Children who grow up in a violent home do not develop the social skills that they need to function as normal adults. It has been proven that a strong factor in the development of antisocial behavior is a child’s lack of connection with others. Therefore, parents who make no effort to bond with their babies in the first three to nine months may actually be causing the antisocial personality. It has also been proven that the lack of safety in children causes harm to cognitive function. Living in a violent household can also cause children to live in fear, which causes them to repress feelings and hinders their ability to empathize.

Besides the other characteristics mentioned there are two more categories in which serial killers can be grouped into. These categories are psychotics and psychopaths. Some people may find that these two words are very much alike and that serial killers are in fact both. However, psychotics are quite insane. They can not perceive reality like normal people(Characteristics of a Serial Killer). Schizophrenia is a common disease associated with psychotics because they can hear voices in their head, telling them to kill someone. These people are marked clearly insane. Psychotics usually.
