Confidence is about two ways, One is self-confidence, which means I believe in myself. The next one is I have a belief in others, example - God. Most of the person lag confidence in selves. One may or may not have confidence in other but everyone should have confidence in themselves. Here are 9 tips to motivate your confidence. “I think that the power is the principle. The principle of moving forward, as though you have the confidence to move forward, eventually gives you confidence when you look back and see what you’ve done.” – Robert Downey Jr.
Tip - 1 - Past Can't Be Changed
Our past is filled with good and bad memories. You should take the good memories and learn experiences from the bad ones. Thinking about bad things and feeling dejected will not motivate you to lead a beautiful life. Positive thoughts will create positive things. You can find happiness within yourself.
Tip - 2 - Push The Past And Move Forward
It is very difficult to feel positive while looking back at your mistakes and failures. If you need to move forward, you need to leave your past impressions. Try to ignore your past mistakes, resentment, and regret that is holding you back. If you need to focus on your past then focus on your achievements and feel proud of yourself. Likewise little by little, you need to push yourself and grow your confidence and abilities.
Tip - 3 - A State Of Stretching Your Mind
There are two main steps in stretching the mind from the past.
Forgiveness - You cannot change the past, So whoever given pain in your past, Just Forgive them. It could be one or many, even God. By forgiving them you will become stronger. At last, forgive yourself for not taking actions instead of reacting.
Let it go - Moving ahead or letting go of the anger. Both the things are good. First on denotes Express your disappointment, your regret, your anger, and then LET IT GO! and the second one is finding a different way to take out your anger. Try to heal your anger and emotions and move on in your life.
Tip - 4 - Learn Some Thing New
Learning something new is always an exciting venture. If you learn new things, you feel like I have learned something new and it will direct me towards success. Most of the successful people in the world were constantly learning new things in their life. They dedicate their spare time to pursue new skills, languages, and abilities. It improves your confidence level. Don't run behind office stuff. Anyone can become expert in their chosen field with enough dedication towards learning. Learning new things makes you grow mature. You have an endless supply of information on the internet. You can read new books, do research, take classes, attend lectures and expand your knowledge.
Tip - 5 - Everyone's journey is different
Different people have different skills. Our faces do not look alike, then how will our skills will be the same. Everyone has different skills. Try to respect those skills. One may good in playing Guitar, other may have good Programming skills. People may have different goals in their life. Everyone's life is different and everyone's journey is different. The problem is with the comparison. Comparison will make you feel either better than someone else or worthless compared to someone else. So don't compare yourself with others. While comparing you may lose your confidence.
Tip - 6 - How you present yourself
Many people don't know the importance of physical and non-verbal behavior. If you act as you are confident, then everyone will feel that you are more confident. How you carry yourself communicates a lot to other people
Perfect your posture - Keep your shoulders back, your spine straight, and your chin high.
Make sure you walk properly, Walk with purpose instead of dragging your feet.
Dress for confidence. You look more confident when you are enjoying what you wear. Make sure the accessories match your profession. The hairstyle and the footwear are properly fit to your attire. Keep an elegant smile in your face. These things will boost your confidence level.
Tip - 7 - Write Down Your Dreams And Goals
The act of writing down your dreams and goals ignites an entirely new dimension of consciousness, ideas, and productivity. If you just think about one of your goals or dreams, you’re only using the right hemisphere of your brain, which is your imaginative center. But, if you think about something that you desire, and then write it down, then your logic-based left hemisphere is used. Improve your confidence level by writing down your goals. Before writing your goal, you need to have a crystal clear ideal about your goal. Then what value the goal has. The skills, strengths and the resources required for the goal. Daily take a step towards your goal by positive affirmations and positive self-talk.
Tip - 8 - Identify And Removing The Obstacles
Everyone will face obstacles in their life. But these obstacles can't stop a man who desire to achieve. Obstacles are classified into two types. One is External Obstacles like natural disasters, economy or political problem. The second one is Internal Obstacles like debt, skills, and talents needed. You can remove these obstacles by the following ways,
Through a brainstorming session, many obstacles will be resolved. Example - Conflicts, the lag of concentration, colleague pressure, work stress, etc...
Categorize and prioritize the obstacles. Develop an action plan and try to remove the obstacles.
Planning and setting up the parameter balance system of identifying your obstacles and figure out how to eliminate them. "There are so many people who will tell "You Can't". What you need to do is turn around and say "Watch me".
Tip - 9 - Love Yourself Unconditionally
Some people have a problem in knowing themselves. They underestimate themselves. Due to this, they lag in confidence. They do more good things and achieved in their life but they do not love or appreciate themselves. The First thing you do is you need to love yourself unconditionally and appreciate for each and everything you do in your life.
Every night sit down and write down what are all happened today. Then check the good and bad things you have done today. Now you will realize how many good things done for the day.
Don't neglect yourself due to fear of your thoughts. A Self-love is a form of recognizing the good things about yourself. It is very important to love yourself before loving others.
Be yourself, don't act like others. If you do so, you will lose your individuality. Act how you need to react to the situation. Don't copy others. ⦁ Speak to your mind and Be confident in your decisions. It doesn't matter how people treat you. Be humble. You are not everyone's cup of tea.
Finally, Spend a little time to speak to yourself to make sure you're presenting yourself well. Wear comfortable and clean attire. Carry yourself as you are confident. Smile gently, make an eye contact and have an approachable body language. Recognize your talents and good qualities and write them down.
