Have you ever felt amazing after knowing that you have found a friend that you can trust for life and that won’t leave your side? Well, I did when I was in first grade. I ran onto the flashy yellow bus and when I hopped on, I met people I would be able to see for three years. I first met Matt when I was hustling into Ms. Reho’s (first grade) class. He was sitting there, right next to another student named Caden (the small one), as I strolled in. When we were on that one ABC carpet, I first talked to them. I had heard that Caden was talking about the new Call of Duty (game series) and Halo (game series as well). I had just learned that we all had something familiar and that was the fact that we all liked guns. When we learned that, we also discovered that we had much more in common, such as WWE and much more to come. When we sat together at lunch, we had smelt the alluring scent that the French toast sticks had, and it turned out we had our preferences for food the same as well. I loved the fact that there were people that I had actually had something in common with. It made me very content because at that time, us Muslims were being discriminated. It made me feel happy that for once I could actually remember your best friend and how you met, my first real friend that didn’t leave after a while or lived far away was.
Caden next year left to a private school, and me and Matt were still friends but we didn’t have too much of a good relationship until the summer of third - fourth grade because we were in none of our classes before fourth grade and inside of the summer that makes us fourth graders my friend Nick had introduced matt to me again. When in fourth grade matt was finally inside of my class and I had a great time having him in my class again and when I saw him we instantly started making jokes that would instantly make us laugh. Lunch that day was good because I had more friends like Nick (he’s in red team) David (in red team) and Matt (finally someone in green team) when we ate lunch we had a great time because we all knew about what we all were talking about and it made us all laugh because that was the whole class clown group. After school we would get onto the phone or our Playstation’s and have fun all together and it felt like nothing before. During fourth grade matt had hosted a party at his house and I asked my mom if i could've gone and she said “yes” as long as she got to see his mom and grandmother and they were there and i got to see matt and matt expected me to not be able to come and I surprised him and we instantly started hugging.
5th grade was the grade that we all had the most fun because we met Mason that year and me and Mason were class clowns of that year because of all of the things that we said we made the funniest jokes of the whole class and we were BEST FRIENDS. That made it even funnier because me and Mason would even finish off each others jokes and it made a lot more funnier. I also (even as class clown) had the best grades in the class. By the end of the year I was having the most fun I’ve had inside of my whole lifetime and that made the year much much funner and made most people that I knew year better. Matt and me inside of fifth grade had met someone named Chris and he was the one person that also knew as much as I did.
It made me happy and we had much more in common than we had thought and it made me cheerful just like when I had met Matt and most of the time that I had met Matt I was happy because I had someone to talk to me and matt during that year were friends but we had not been inside of the best friend zone that year. Because of that we had stopped talking to each other after a little while and because of that we did not have a very good friendship during fifth grade and we had not talked that often during class we would make one joke but never had a very good relationship during that year and we had to make up for it inside of sixth grade.
Sixth grade comes and we are not inside of any of each others classes and it kind of made me sad because of the fact that we had not had a very good year last year and we had not been inside of the same classes inside of sixth grade but we got over that and sometimes had gone over to each other's houses on the weekend or after school and it quickly made up for fifth and sixth grade and it made me feel more bonded to Matt and it had made his family and my family love each other and because of that my family treats Matt like a family member because of us having that one night where he hosted the party that would lead his family to meet mine.
