The author describes the occurrence of Zombies in movies, and through his description, the author’s perception of Zombies is expressed. However much the Zombies are horrific creatures that are merciless, they also have a role of illustrating some phenomenon in human society.
The stated sentence vividly describes the nature of Zombies as seen in movies. The description builds the body appearance of the Zombies in the reader’s mind. According to the author, Zombies are ugly and have wounded bodies that have fresh exudates. The author gives a clear appearance of Zombies and based on his description of these imaginary creatures; he has a perception that Zombies cannot die quickly. He thinks that Zombies have the power to accomplish what they want even though they seem to be weak and wounded. Moreover, the author believes that the clothing and anything that zombies are carrying with them shows who they were before they turned into the horrific creatures.
Zombies have been portrayed in a manner that shows their nature. In movies, they are consumers, killing and eating human flesh. They are also the horrors that appear and represent the dead. Zombies are portrayed as the worst characters, with all manner of evils. Their nature and actions represent some characters in the human society. In the human society, some people are evil in nature in their deeds of making others suffer. Their actions towards others in the society show lack of mercy. They act like Zombies; whose role is to consume without working. Thus, movies that have Zombie characters try to imply some phenomena in human society by giving an indirect comparison.
In addition to bringing visual shock to people, Zombies in movies try to show stories about people, what they are going through and how they respond to hard times in human society. Zombies stand for anything that humans fear such as pandemics, racism, and threats that affect people. The manner in which these creatures are eliminated in a movie shows how some people have the capacity to deal with problems in life.
