Politics shapes everything from education systems to healthcare policies, and I want to better understand how these decisions are made and how they affect society. Political Science provides the framework to comprehend the processes and institutions that govern our world.
I am also drawn to Political Science for the critical thinking skills it cultivates. Analyzing complex issues, understanding the motivations of governments, and evaluating policies helps individuals develop a deeper awareness of the world. These skills are crucial not only for success in academia but also for various careers and life pursuits.
Another motivation for my interest in Political Science is my desire to effect positive change. I believe citizens have a responsibility to engage in the democratic process and work towards a better future. Through studying Political Science, I hope to gain a deeper understanding of the political system and become better equipped to participate in meaningful civic action, such as volunteering for political campaigns or advocating for policy change.
