As long as I can remember, I have been passionate about the world of politics. From reading about current events to engaging in discussions with my peers and family, I have always been intrigued by the way that governments function and how they impact society. This passion has motivated me to pursue a degree in Political Science at Hartwick College.
One of the reasons why I am drawn to Political Science is because of its relevance in our daily lives. Politics impacts everything from our education system to our healthcare policies, and I want to better understand how these decisions are made and how they affect our society. Political Science provides me with the framework to understand the processes and institutions that shape our political landscape.
In addition, I am drawn to the critical thinking skills that Political Science cultivates.
