Motivational Letter: an Application for a Master’s Degree Program in Electrical Engineering

To be honest I had extremely passion to study a master's degree program at the Wentworth Institute of Technology. So this is a motivational essay example in which I will exapline my purpose to study there. I am interested to apply for a Master’s Degree Program at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Electrical Engineering. I have graduated, from Lahore Leads University, Lahore and hold a Bachelor’s degree in BSc Electrical Engineering.

The four year undergraduate program formed the basis of my perseverance towards achieving an in-depth knowledge in the field of Electrical Engineering. During my bachelor studies, I underwent the experience of developing a system of load side management with optional backup switching to control energy crises along with my colleagues. If we can manage our loads with optimal use we can save energy as well as it will impact on economy. While submitting the Project, our supervisor tested our product and gives us a task to implement this in our university.

Further, I want to continue my research on Energy Optimization. The pioneering works going on at the department perfectly match with the field of my interest. The interdisciplinary nature of Wentworth Institute of Technology has convinced me in taking this decision as it is the ideal choice for an exciting research career. By working under the guidance of distinguished faculty, I shall certainly be able to exploit my potential to the fullest.

I have read the curriculum of this course, the modules of this course is not only focusing of Energy systems but also a solid base for effective designing of system for renewable energy resources. It perfectly matches with my interest and future career goal. I genuinely hope that my dedication towards Electrical Energy, along with my academic records, qualify me for study in your institute. I believe that studying at your institute will nourish me the all-around education and prepare me for the future.

About my selected course, I have searched and visited various websites of different universities in the US to get comprehensive information about their offered courses, fee structures, living environment and other related matters. Wentworth Institute of Technology is offering a quality education completely matches with my requirements. I have also contacted with some students there through social media and asked them about curricular and co-curricular environment in the institute. They all praised the institute and recommended me to join Wentworth Institute of Technology and Applied Engineering for my intended plans to study Master in Electrical Power/Energy System.

I searched that the faculty and staff of Wentworth Institute of Technology; highly professional and dedicated all the way, friendly and dynamic environment with professional qualification.
