Personal FAFSA Appeal Letter

This is my FASFA appeal letter sample. My name is Sabrina Jaramillo and I have been attending Elac for about 2 years. Since I started Elac I have only been motivated to finish and earn my degree in order to start a career for a better future. It was made possible for me to face all my fears and conquer them as I went through my studies. Elac has made me see how far a degree can get you and how one can have a better life if you study hard enough to earn a career of your choice. I have gained knowledge and more self confidence in myself throughout my journey here, and I plan to continue to move forward, while learning new things.

To continue financial aid appeal example, I was never the type of person who was into college when I was younger, but I seen that furthering my education is the only way to be successful in this society. As I started looking into majors with counselors, it made me realize that I wanted to go for criminal justice and start a career there. I put all my efforts into finishing Elac with an associates degree in administration of justice and I proudly did that.

Now, I still have a plan to transfer out to a Cal State and study for my bachelors in AJ, but I am still taking classes here at Elac. I have recently been disqualified from receiving financial aid for Fall 2019 because I have successfully completed a minimum of 67% of all my units with a “D” or better. The total units I have right now is 83. The reason I am taking more classes here at Elac is because I was advised by a counselor to take two extra courses here that would be transferable to the Cal State of my choice. Within appeal for financial aid example I want to write that I wish to continue my studies and hope for the financial aid assistance I will need, which is the reason I am petitioning for an extension of financial aid. I am only beginning my career and looking forward to keep going as long as I can. 

To end up financial aid sap appeal letter example, I hope that seeing my GPA, grades, attendance, and progress here at Elac will be enough to still earn the financial aid assistance I will need now and until possible in order to keep studying for a higher degree after transferring out. My dream is to show my baby boy that anything is possible and be an example of how far hard work can get you.
