Society's standards are extremely high, a ladder that everyone is trying to climb. But many have failed, Fell into a hole of never ending judgment. Some are scared of not reaching the top. For they will fall into a deeper spot. Others push people down to pull themselves up. Chaos became a ladder for the egotistical Many suffer while few swim in the pool of pleasure Why does the color of your skin dictate the things you can do? Why does your physical appearance define your intelligence? Why does your religion affect the job you can take?
It's easy to be judged for your physical look, one glance and multiple words come to their mind. Social standards have caused us to be blind, unable to see the good Overthinking at night instead of sleeping. Society always yelling, you are not enough And I spent every moment believing something is wrong. For this is happening for so long. Why are we rushing to climb a mountain alone instead of climbing together. Why don't we start helping each other for an equal and joyful forever Unable to see the real happiness aside from all the ugliness. Because for them, you are accepted only when you wear branded clothes Or buy the most expensive perfume with the smell of rose. These are the things you do just to be accepted Physical look became the basis of everyone's standard, Being kind or forgiving is not enough I must reach the top of the ladder, The ladder of the society's standard We put makeup on our face, Wished to have grown on another race. But deep inside, you're feeling out of place from the fast moving phase of today's race.
Happiness is nowhere to be found. Not because it's hard to find, but because society do not agree on what they see. But we do not have the gut to disagree. See the joy of having a family you can talk to. Friends who are always there for your needs. They say, only losers hangout with losers. So I started to cut people off and friends became fewer. True kindness cannot be seen by our eyes. It is felt by our heart Physical look don't matter, you are beautiful. Why do I have this feeling, Like I'm on a stage, walking. And everyone is there judging. It's like I'm being dragged down from the mountain I'm desperately trying to climb. I always thought that the world is conspiring against me. Darkness is devouring everything that makes me happy, feeding off from the remaining light in me. Why is it that I have to meet the society’s standard? When my own family accepts me. And the people that matters, they believe in me. We weren't born to please everyone, everyone's perfectly imperfect. Everything is beautiful It's how you see the world I tried to be strong But things doesn't seem to get along.
