A 'Modest Proposal' to Solve The Problem with Refugees

Throughout the world, refugees have been through a lot. They’ve moved from one country to another, in order to create more opportunities in life. Picture a mother of four crying, because they weren't able to see their children for years. That's why I titled this essay “A Modest Proposal” because I'm offering a solution towards a major problem in the U.S. What's ironic about my title is that its a proposal: while being modest? A modest proposal for the betterment of the love for refugees and prevent them from being a burden to society and self-supportive. Refugees should be treated like humans, not animals.

My solution may be absurd but it can better the lives of refugees. People who are faced to leave their countries can rest their lives by buying non-populated and underdeveloped land. By achieving this, refugees won't have to migrate from country to country to acquire freedom. Resulting from this can give refugees a permanent place to stay, for long periods of time. Although my solution has promise, it needs to execute well.

Although my solution seems ridiculous, I've “logical reasons” as to why my solution would benefit refugees; for the time being. Firstly, there's a supportive economy. Who wouldn't want a great economy? An economy helps people thrive by providing health care, welfare, school reform, and efforts to reduce equality, pollution, and crime. Secondly, refugees can settle for permanent housing so they can stay in one location and not move from place to place. Thirdly, people can acquire social services. Social worker provides services that protects abused or neglected children and helps families with their problems. Fourthly, parents can save their money so their child or children can gain knowledge from school. The less aid you use, the better your family income. In 2018-2019, the public, instate tuition is $9,716, public, out- of- state tuition is $21,659, and private tuitions is $35,767. Fithly, refugees can obtain more freedom. Freedom allows us to do whatever we want to do, so why not choose my solution. Sixthly, people have more opportunities to thrive. It's important that people take advantage of opportunities, to better themselves.

I understand your concerns and concerns towards my solution but I don’t care if you agree with me or not. I’m doing what's best for refugees who are treated unfairly, forced to migrate from one country to another, and people don’t have the same opportunities as other people. Because some people are simple minded, I’ve came up with an quick and easy solution, for the betterment of refugees. If you don’t have any ideas, then shut up and listen to what I have to say.
