Movies and TV Shows have a huge influence on people. There are many different kinds of movies and TV Shows that you could watch. Some of them are rests on true stories and some others based on fictional stories. Breaking Bad is a crime and thriller TV Show because it has many action scenes and is based on a true story that happened in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1988.

Breaking Bad is a TV Show that talks about Walter White. Walter White is 56 and is a high school teacher whose major is Chemistry. He is a normal person who has a normal life. He is married to a woman called Skyler, and he has a son. One day, his health was bad, and he was coughing blood; he went to make some tests in the hospital. The doctor told him that he has lung cancer, and he has one year until he dies. However, there was a hope… When Walter got the news, he was depressed that he is going to die soon. He needed to leave some money for his family to take care of themselves when he dies, but his salary from the school was insufficient. Therefore, he decided to work with Jesse Pinkman to cook methamphetamine and sell it to the people in the streets. At the beginning of the TV Show, I was surprised because I did not imagine a teacher in the high school will think of being a drug dealer and especially someone in his age.

Walter wanted to get the treatment from the hospital for his cancer, but he needed to pay them a lot of money which he does not have. When Skyler found out that her husband had lung cancer, she wanted to ask her brother-in-law to help him. However, Walter did not agree. He did not want to ask anyone for money, so the only solution was left to become a drug dealer. At first, he started working with Jesse Pinkman in an RV. After two weeks of being a drug dealer, Walter had changed. He began to get angry and fight with people. In this scene, I liked Walter’s reaction when his wife knew about his health problem. He did not want to ask anyone of his family or friends for money. He wanted to take care of himself and be an independent person. Also, I felt excited a little bit when he began to act angry and fight with the other people. Before he began to work with Jesse Pinkman, he had a normal life with his family. He used to go work at the high school, and then go to work at his part-time job at the car wash.

After a while, Skyler had a bad feeling. She felt that there was something wrong about her husband because he was spending a lot of time outside the house. Thus, Skyler started to follow her husband to know what he is up to. When Skyler was sure that there was something between her husband and Jesse Pinkman, she asked Walter to tell her the truth. However, he did not tell her the truth. He told her that he was depressed because of his health, and he was only buying marijuana from Jesse Pinkman, and he would not do it again. In this part, I was not suppressed by Skyler reaction because most of the women feel concerned when their husbands come late at home. They start feeling worry. Also, not telling Skyler the truth about cooking methamphetamine was the right thing to do because if Skyler knew, she would get upset and maybe leave Walter.

Walter White and Jesse Pinkman started to earn money, but it was not enough for Walter. Therefore, he asked Jesse to find someone who has connections, so they could sell more and get more money. Jesse found someone called Tuco who is also a drug dealer. They started working together and earn more money, but one day Walter and Jesse had a disagreement with Tuco. Therefore, Jesse and Walter planned to escape, but Tuco kidnapped them and captured them in a house in the desert. However, Walter’s brother in law who works in the DEA came to the house because he was tracking Tuco. When he came, he engaged with Tuco and they started firing at each other until Tuco got killed. However, Hank did not see anyone else in the house because Walter and Jesse escaped. Also, until this moment, Hank did not know that Walter was a drug dealer. In this scene, I felt excited because Walter and Jesse were planning to escape, but Tuco caught them. Also, when they were hiding in the desert, and Hank came to arrest Tuco. I thought that Hank was going to see Walter, but he did not see him. Also, if Hank caught Walter, Hank might lose his job because Hank and Walter were like brothers. Therefore, at that moment I felt excited and I wanted to know what was going to happen.

Walter and Jesse were suspicious, so the police brought them to the police station for investigation. Walter heard that there was an investigator that helps the criminals called Saul, so he called him to come and release them. The police did not have any proof, so they released them immediately. When Walter and Jesse got out, they stopped cooking for a while because some of the police officers were watching them all the time. After a couple of weeks, Saul told them that there is a man whose name is Pollos had been working as a drug dealer for 20 years, and he can fit them into work with him. In this part of the TV Show, when Walter and Jesse stopped cooking for a while, I felt like that was the right decision to make because if they kept cooking, the police will catch them. Also, I was shocked when Saul told Walter and Jesse about Pollos. I told myself, what kind of investigator is this!

Walter and Jesse started working with Pollos, and he gave them a lot of money. Walter began to get a lot of money. He did not know what to do with all of it, so he made a room under his house to hide the money, but it was too much. One day, Skyler saw the money and Walter told her everything, and he promised her that he will stop working as a drug dealer after one year. She was mad at first, but then she started to help him hide the money, and she told him that the best way to hide the money is to buy a car wash. Therefore, he bought the car wash to convince the people and the government that he has income. I think this scene is the best because Walter started to get a lot of money, and it was safer than before. Before they started working with Pollos, they were cooking methamphetamine in the desert without knowing that they are safe. With Pollos they have a large lab under the ground.

According to Mattvissicchio, “I cannot find words to tell you all how perfect this show is, but all I can say is that there will be none other that can beat this perfect TV show. Breaking Bad deserves all the hype it gets, Vince Gillian really brings to the viewers. You will laugh, cry, and your jaw will be dropped to the floor at how shocking it can get.” However, according to Shopaholic35, “The first season was incredible, but I feel that they dragged it out too long. As the weeks go by, I felt boring.”

In my opinion, I agree with Mattvissicchio. This TV Show is interesting, and I think that many people will like it because this story happened in real life. Walter’s life had changed when he knew that he had lung cancer. He began smoking, driving fast, killing people, and many other things, but he was good at cooking methamphetamine because his major was Chemistry; therefore, he knew how to make the drugs perfect. The end of this season was amazing because Walter achieved his goals. He got a lot of money for his family, and it was safe for him to work with Pollos; therefore, he did not have to worry about finding customers. Also, as the seasons go, the TV Show started to be more and more interesting.

The lesson of this TV Show is that whatever reason you have, it does not mean that you can do illegal things. For example; it is true that Walter White wanted to ensure his family’s future before he dies; however, selling drugs to other people will destroy these people’s lives. Therefore, I think that if anyone wants to watch this TV Show, he must be over 18 because the young people might think that being a drug dealer is a good way to get money. Also, these kinds of TV Shows and movies have many scenes that could affect the children’s brains. However, anyone who is over 18 and he likes action or thriller movies might be interested in this TV Show.
