The factors that have led to American involvement in imperialism are military strengths, new markets, and the trust of cultural superiority. The whole reason for the Spanish American war is because of the Cubans wanting their freedom from Spain, imperialism growing and lastly the sinking battleship of Maine. The elements that caused world war 1 were politics, secret alliances, imperialism, and nationalistic pride. There were lots of strategies and tactics used in world war 2. The most effective ones are island hopping, leapfrogging blitzkrieg infantry, and lots more.
American’s wanted to spread their way of life around the world so by doing that they took control of Hawaii and the Philippines. While the spanish american war happened and gained lots of new resources and sold them in their trading businesses. They did this because they thought that if they brought in a whole bunch of new resources from different places it would probably be interesting to the people. We had the Spanish - American war because “The debate over America's global role intensified when Cubans began to fight for his or her independence from Spain in 1895. Americans were sympathetic to Cuba's struggle for independence but were divided about a way to help. The Republican speaker of the House didn't want 'to spill American blood,' unless American interests were directly threatened, whereas Theodore Roosevelt|United States President|President|Chief Executive}, the Republican assistant secretary of the Navy, pushed for war against Spain” This quote is saying that americans role in the war became more out there when cubans fought for their independence with spain they were waiting because like the reoublican speaker of the house said it would be unnecessary to spill “american blood” unless they were directly threatened and that's when the Republican assistant secretary of the Navy knew it was time and went into war with Spain. The war ended with the signing of the treaty of paris and the united states gained control over Guam, Puerto Rico and the philippines.
World war 1 happened in 1914, it was an international conflict. It happened between Europe, Russia, the United States, the middle east, and other regions those were just the main ones. Germany and Austria Hungary and Turkey were the ones mainly fighting. After four years of war there were 8.5 million deaths,” trench warfare is a type of fighting where both sides build deep trenches as a defense against the enemy. These trenches can stretch for many miles and make it nearly impossible for one side to advance. During World War I, the western front in France was fought using trench warfare. During WWI, trenches were used to try to protect soldiers from poison gas, giving them more time to put on gas masks. Dysentery, cholera, typhoid fever, and trench foot were all common diseases in the trenches, especially during WWI '' This quote is explaining what type of fighting trench warfare is and how it protected them during the war. After Germany gave up on November 11th and the rest of the nations agreed to stop fighting, Germany and the allied nations signed the treaty of versailles saying that they agreed to stop fighting. They were done and the war ended.
World war 2 had many tactics and strategies some of the ones that were very effective are “Island hopping (also called leapfrogging): A militant factors have led to American involvement in imperialism and war? Military strategy employed by the Allies in the Pacific War against the Axis powers (most notably Japan) during World War II. It entailed taking over an island and establishing a military base there. The base was in turn used as a launching point for the attack and takeover of another island.`` From this quote, we can see how effective island hopping was because it was able to help the U.S reach Japan faster and would give the allies off balance and would still be able to keep the japanese off balance because while the U.S came and surprised attacked them they would be getting weaker and weaker.
