This book includes many primary sources and is even accompanied by an introduction analyzing and explaining the content. It focus on the political, cultural and social conditions at the time of the Black Death. This book is great for my topic as it provides many first hand accounts during the time of the plague. The translator, Rosemary Horrox, is an English historian who is also a Fellow of Fitzwilliam College at Cambridge University. She also earned her degree at Cambridge and is a Fellow at the Royal Historian Society. This book is definitely for researchers as it includes an abundance of primary sources.

The Encyclopedia of Black Death includes various causes and effects of the Black Death. This source includes a multitude of information from various trustworthy sources. In the Encyclopedia, it is organized by sections of important topics on the Black Death. The author of this encyclopedia, Joesph Patrick Bryne, is a historian that teaches honors medieval and early modern sections at the University of Belmont. He has published numerous research based journal and encyclopedia articles. This work illuminates my topic as it has a great amount of important events, people and other information regarding the Black Death. The encyclopedia is researched based and includes citations from where some of the information is taken from at the end of each section.

This site is trustworthy as it is included in a database. The database is also focused on the Ancient and Medieval Eras so the sources are more specific than using a database on everything in World History. In this article, it includes the causes of the plague, its effects and life during that time. It is a great source to use as it covers the main aspects of the Black Death very well.

It focuses specifically on the daily lives of people during the time of the tragic plague. It highlights agricultural, political, social and cultural stances at the time of the plague. This source is amazing as it covers the lives of Black Death victims and their lifestyle. The author of this source is Jeffery R. Wigelsworth who has taught European History at the University of Saskatchewan. His articles have been published in the Canadian Journal of History, Journal of the Printing Historical Society and more.

This book focuses on the most important aspects and effects of the Black Death while the Encyclopedia covers a broader range of subjects. Having this book and the Encyclopedia allows me to find out which topics are more important than others and dive into deeper detail by using the Encyclopedia.
