It’s strange how humans get rewarded for his or her nice deeds but don’t typically realize the blessings in disguise. Umeed lost her father when she was 18 years old and had to leave her education too early to look after her family. She is engaged to Jahanzeb who has been very supportive and has taken care of her in good and bad times. Umeed is completely in love and emotionally dependent on Jahanzeb. Umeed’s life undergoes a harsh change when a few days before their marriage, Jhanazeb warns to break their engagement after the controversy between them.
The ultimate breakup with Jahanzeb serves as an intense loss in her life. While Umeed is heartbroken and deprived of any hope, Daniel Edgar a foreigner enters Umeed’s life as a gift of God encounter a similar fate. This novel is gripping and teaches me a lot about true love, faith, and hope. Through this fantastic Urdu fiction story, the writer gives the picture of life and world with a different angle.
