In short, marijuana can help you prevent Alzheimer’s, or even delay it. Alzheimer’s comes in varying degrees of intensity. Using marijuana can help reduce the intensity of someone’s Alzheimer’s and make the sufferer more comfortable. One study by the Scripps Research Institute found that THC prevents plaque formation in the brain that is associated with Alzheimer's disease. THC blocks the enzyme ACHE, which accelerates sediment formation more efficiently than conventional drugs. It also prevents the accumulation of proteins that inhibit the memory of patients. Cannabinoids can prevent or slow the development of Alzheimer's by reducing the amount of tau protein. Similar positive effects of marijuana have been found in other neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's. Also, a 2006 study by the Scripps Research Institute found that THC prevents the accumulation of amyloid deposits in the brain that are associated with Alzheimer's disease.

Marijuana can help to tame epileptic seizures. A 2003 study on the benefits of marijuana has shown that epileptic patients were able to reduce both the frequency and the intensity of their seizures by adding marijuana to their daily routine. Although the CBD component is not responsible for causing euphoria, it is believed that it can be attributed to numerous therapeutic effects, such as the elimination of pain or the potential treatment of certain types of epilepsy acquired during childhood. Some drugs contain CBD, are on the way to becoming the first drug of its kind to be approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of rare childhood epilepsy acquired in childhood. To date, no therapeutic effect of marijuana has been demonstrated in the treatment of the disease itself, but its beneficial effect in reducing some of the symptoms of the disease in some patients. In these cases, marijuana was used as adjunctive therapy where medication was not helpful and again only in selected patients. Marijuana has a multitude of benefits for health.
